Hello everyone, not sure if you realized but if you updated to the windows 10 anniversary update, there are new drivers! I noticed poor performance using vulkan in doom. Downloaded new drivers and it runs better than I can ever remember with my 1070 ftw.

To update go to your device manager, right click on the display adapter and click "update software" it will be downloaded and installed.

I done a clean install of W10 1607 and noticed it installed the 369.09 driver not available from NVidia.com? I had to get the standalone PhysX package through nvidia.com as this driver from windows update doesn't have PhysX or GeForce experience included

This update keeps your previous Geforce experience and phyxs package installed. Everything seems to be fine doing it this way if you had earlier drivers installed.

It improved my time spy score as well by 150 points or so.

When I install GFX drivers I use DDU first. When I install I do clean installation and only install the driver and Physx. All the other stuff can cause crashes. Especially Geforce Experience.

I also use DDU when updating drivers, but I install everything not just driver + PhysX. I'm actually using the Geforce Experience beta its a lot better than the older version only downside is you need to set up an account to use it now, I use it because I like to use shadowplay

The 1607 update hoses the OPENCL portion of the drivers. I recommend a reinstall of the Nvidia drivers. 169.05 is now available on the Nvidia site, but has no change log to speak of and may not include the dpc fix.

isn't the 369.05 driver for titan x only?

It comes up for "10 series" cards so it might be because of new Titan. I just know from folding, the OpenCL got squashed and needed a reinstall. The 369.05 drivers had no fixes in the release notes, so no point in using those specifically. I just reinstalled the 368.95 version a and everythings fixxed up nice.

369.09 Is the new driver in the WIN 10 update. 369.05 is the Titan X driver. Thanx for the heads up. I like the new 10 update. Ad blocker is awesome. More importantly it fixed some issues I had with Far Cry 4. I had a lot of screen tearing in SLI but now its gone. Hope they don't screw it up in the new update.

    Not true over here.
5 machines so far on which the working 368.81 x64 with OpenCL was replaced by 369.09 without OpenCL, even though in Windows Update settings Manufacturers driver updates were specifically disabled. I suppose if you don't use it, you wouldn't miss it ...
Once is coincidence, twice is an accident, 5x is M$ Incompetence or utter disregard...
Utterly infuriated here. I use these boxes to number crunch for SETI, really loved to come home and see them sitting there idle due to something I had anticipated and (I thought) disabled.
Sadly, there's no way to express my displeasure to MS and NVidia. This is totally unacceptable!!!
Hopefully someone at EVGA takes notice and acts. With over a dozen EVGA boards crunching here, one would hope for some support ...
