Hey everyone just updated to Win10 today (clean install), and asides missing drivers, I've got 1 issue that I cannot seem to locate a solid fix for.
I have the Samsung MZHPU512HCGL in the M.2 slot, and even under a medium light load on it, I'm getting "Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort0, was issued." Error 129, source storahci.  Tried all kinds of things such as disabling power management for PCI, hard drives. As far as I can tell I'm on the most recent driver, but still issues.  Take into account I did not see this issue until a clean install onto Win10.

Anyone seeing anything similar or have any ideas?
TIA!

Give us a list of your whole system to better assist you.

Also, did you use secure erase on that M.2 SSD Drive?

    System specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7 5960X (No OC currently)
    M/B: X99 Classified (Latest BIOS)
    Mem: G-Skill Ripjaws 4 series (4GBx8)
    Graphics: 2xRadeon R9 290, slots 1 and 4
    Primary HDD: Samsung XP941 (AHCI)
    Secondary HDD: 4xSamsung 840 Pro's, Raid 0

I did not perform a secure erase on the drive prior to install, just basically removed all partitions and then let the installer partition as it pleased
Also should note, secure boot is running.
I just restored back to Win8.1 from backup, triple checked drivers, settings, etc all matched to what I had everything set to in 10, and have been stressing the disk hard for about 30mins now to see if the issue sprung in 8 and I just didn't see it for some reason, but still all clear.
    Thanks!

Wmmills: I did, seemed to nearly make it happen more frequently oddly enough, and my storage disk connected via SATA3 no longer was detected by windows (BIOS still saw it fine though).

Well with Win8 it seems I can validate atleast the SSD itself didn't kick it, but still has me pondering why it would freak in 10 and not 8.  Literally my last machine to upgrade to 10, my tablet, work machine, and x99 micro (running raid 0 SSD via SATA3), all working great, its just this M.2 :(

Gotcha, sounds like rolling back to 8 was probably best then for now.

For this particular error I'll ask that you post this problem into the Microsoft Windows 10 forum

Follow up after spending my entire Saturday trying to trace down this issue:
-Upgrade from 8 to 10 while the storage issue did not reoccur, the onboard nic's were completely defunc, so here's the steps I went through in another clean install that seemed to jive with the classified.

-Disconnected all drives except the M.2, this probably had 0 affect on the outcome, it just allowed me to make mass deletes without risking anything
-Clean install from USB prepped thumb drive
-Once windows came to the first launch, let it sit on the desktop, and perform all the updates, driver updates, etc, I think this may have bit me as I was already installing various other programs
-Go through the 2-3 reboots, install the latest x99 chipset drivers from Intel (I found them on guru3d, dated just a few days ago, couldn't locate them on Intel's site for some reason)
-Install the Win8.1 recon3di drivers from the support site here
-Reinstalled True Image with web installer to get the correct build (I thought TI was causing the issue, but thus far no issues)

During all this keep watching the event viewer for the error, but haven't seen it yet.  Only thing I've yet to reinstall is nod32, will be doing that shortly and report back if the problem occurs.

Very, very odd, like I said my x99 evga micro had 0 issues with a clean install, it seemed to me at first it was one of the different chipsets on this board causing it, but I've yet to find a smoking gun.
Hopefully this helps somebody, although still not sure exactly what caused it other then possibly order of events installing drivers.
