    I'm pretty sure you need to install the RAM in pairs on the EVGA Z97 FTW, which I own. I can't say enough nice things about it! Get either 2 or 4 sticks of RAM, not 3 like you linked. I am using 2 8GB sticks of ADATA XPG DDR3-1600, 16GB total. I like the low profile RAM better so it doesn't interfere with my CPU cooling options. I set my BIOS to UEFI-only mode, and with a pair or Intel SSDs in RAID, I cold-boot to the Win 8.1 desktop in less than 10 seconds. So fast!

    It will work, but with a three-module install, they will each run as single-channel mode. You should install the RAM modules in pairs if you want to run in dual-channel.
