It is "advised" to have 120mm per component plus one 120mm section. You may be fine with 360 total, but "advised" would be 480mm.

Thanks! Unfortunatley i don't have the space for a 480 :( but this also raises another question, can I use the thinner 240mm along with the 360 in the same loop or will that somehow decrease needed flow and temps? Another dumb question... does it matter where my rad is place in relation to my components aka: rad first or rad at the end? i know res has to have direct feed to pump i knw that much..

This should work given it is 80mm think. The rule is as stated by Scarlet above, by given the thickness you should be fine unless you overclock all components.
If you use a thinner radiator, then the 240 would be a good idea. Either way if the flow is good, it should work fine.

It will only make maybe 1-2 degree difference, so kit enough to matter. I currently have my GPUs (all 3) on a 360 and 240 setup. I haven't tested just the 60 vs the addition of the 240, but I know that all 3 cards run very cool. I do believe the 360 supplemented with a thinner 240 would give you better overall performance.
One thing to keep in mind, if the 360 is at the top of the case, make sure to vent the warmest air out first. Have all components run through and then go out the top, so it gets the worst heat out first.
Pump-Gpus-cpu-360-240-res-pump is probably going to be your best bet. This will reduce tubing and give you clean flow.

Its funny you mention it, The 360 will be at the bottom of the case because it will block the optical drive. There is plenty of space for it at the bottom, the only concern I have it the exhaust down there. IMO if the components in your sig are what we are talking about for a 360 it should be sufficient. 2-970s = very low TDP + 4790k at 4.0 you are probably only pushing 1.2 v core, likely less, you should be able to cool that easily. However if it's your goal to push a higher overclock on any of the above then you will be pushing the limits which would likely result in higher fan speeds and more noise. In there lies the rub, most folks who shift to water cooling are expecting a quieter machine in general. Those who underestimate the TDP will suffer with higher noise to compensate. In regards to loop orientation it makes no difference what order you choose in terms of performance. As the loop temperatures normalize over up time and usage there is no avoiding it's true performance value it's strictly governed by Rad/fan efficiency and loop restrictions/flow rate nothing else matters. The only things that will change its is changing one of those values. For example: different rad, higher static pressure fans or more than one pump which would effect those things. That said it's wise to be concerned about the choices you make now and it may be helpful to know what case this is going in, which might help us help you better.

AIO? *EDIT* "all in one"<---gotcha. Not following. I customized the case so it would support a 240mm in front and got the 360mm bracket for the bottom bay. I was hoping to run both but may not have to if the 360 will be enough. I could buy the extended top cover to fit the 360 on top but I won't like how the tubes are ran. The cube case doesn't do top rads justice. And to be quite honest, the S8 it an awesome case but it looks like it has more room than it actually does, unless I decide on a pedestal

The Monsta is one of the most underrated rads for their given length. The reason WHY it is underrated is most people are not willing to use the kind of fans it take to REALLY make those rads shine. The Monsta series are ridiculously thick, granted not as much as the first gen Monsta from a few years back, but VERY thick, and as such need substantially more air pressure and volume to make them work as intended. This rad is MORE than capable of cooling everything you have, even clocked, however, you will be looking at some high pressure fans and going silent with enough power to make that rad worth it might not be an option. I am not trying to talk you out of the Monsta, BUT, I just wanted you to be really aware of what it took to make it really live up to its potential. A second rad won't hurt, infact I generally recommend another rad, just in general, the closer to room temp your water is, the better it can cool. A couple months ago in this forum, one of the users did a rather nice radiator roundup, you might want to take a look, most were 480s but the performance differences between 12 models of 480s will carry over to the same model 360s and 240s.
