Hi everyone,

Will there will be a big difference between GTX 980 Classified ACX 2.0 vs Superclocked? I want buy 3 cards and I still debating if I should go with factory cooling system vs ACX 2.0, what will be difference between these two cards:

EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Classified ACX 2.0
VS
VGA GeForce GTX 980 Superclocked

Is there will be 15/20+ fps difference in the games or we're more talking about +-5 FPS?

Thank you!

I think as there is "only" a difference of 50/63 MHz base/boost, wich is ~4/~4.7% and no difference in memory, it will be about ~5FPS.
According to the game naturally. When it runs with 40 PFS it will be less then 5 and if it runs with 200 FPS it will be more.
But this is only a rough estimate.

Aslo remember that you can overclock your cards manually, it happened to me once, i had these 780 vanillas that overclocked the same or more as the 780 Classy (until you use the EVBOT)

The superclocked is reference design with a higher binned chip.

The classified has a higher binned chip and a custom PCB. It allows higher voltage and TDP control by using more power phases and more power connectors.
You can feed more power to the card so it can achieve higher clocks.... so the story goes.
In reality you don't really want to push cards that hard on a 24/7 setup. Its only necessary for the liquid nitrogen crowd.

Still, the factory overclock between the two is hardly any difference. Not even 5 frames worth. Definitely not if you are running a 4k setup.
