Hey guys/girls,

My question is does the hybrid kit for the gtx 1080 and 1070 ftw help with the overheat issue (vram and such) ?
And is there a possible way to get and discount for the people with the problem ?

The FTW hybrid kits does help cool the Vram, but not the VRM from what I saw installing it, it does remove more heat from the card in general however. What should help however is the thermal mod kit (http://www.evga.com/thermalmod/) or the bios update also listed there (note, it cranks up the fan, so it'll run louder that before) Are both free solutions EVGA is offering.
As for a discount on hybrid kits, I don't think that's likely, but I'm not able to answer that for certain.

The cards still shouldn't be failing regardless, and still have the warranty if they do fail, whatever temps the Vram and VRM get.
