Why don't the step-up 1080 variants for upgrade match the 6 EVGA cards being manufactured?

Here is the (albeit confusing) list of actual cards:
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 $609.99 P/N: 08G-P4-5180-KR
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 ACX 3.0 $619.99 P/N: 08G-P4-6181-KR
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 SC GAMING ACX 3.0 $649.99 P/N: 08G-P4-6183-KR
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0 $679.99 P/N: 08G-P4-6286-KR
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FOUNDERS EDITION $699.99 P/N: 08G-P4-6180-KR
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 CLASSIFIED GAMING ACX 3.0 $TBA.xx P/N: 08G-P4-6188-KR

Whilst here are the options for step-up:

I understand the classified isn't out yet, however shouldn't the others be on here?  What happens if I run out of step-up days before FTW and Classified appear on here, am I screwed?

Also having the founders edition listed as most expensive but then shown as most average specs makes this product line-up ridiculously confusing / difficult to navigate:

The FTW and Classified will never be a step-up option. Only base level models are offered for step-up.

I suggest the ACX 3.0 version if you have a single card set up with decent airflow in your computer case.

EDIT: Yes, the founders edition is a JOKE. A BLATANT cash grab by Nvidia for a worse cooler for $100 more.

A was pointed out,  generally step-up is limited to the base model of each variant meaning, blower style or ACX. The reference blower style has been somewhat more expensive than the ACX style for awhile. It has been that way for as long as I can remember... which seems to be less every year.

    EVGA X99 FTWK / i7 6850K @ 4.5ghz / RTX 3080Ti FTW Ultra / 32GB Corsair LPX 3600mhz / Samsung 850Pro 256GB / Be Quiet BN516 Straight Power 12-1000w 80 Plus Platinum / Window 10 Pro
