Hello I was wondering who is in charge of the EVGA gaming division. Recently I was kicked from a Battlefield 4 server and would like to make EVGA aware of its admin abuse. Thank you for the help.

If your the player that was kicked for having tank in main base with a score of 65-0 in the tank. I don't think you should of been kicked, you was just trying to get away from enemy repairbot. You wasn't camping in main base to kill.
I think EVGA has too many carebear rules for the battlefield servers. If DICE didn't want us to be able to return to our own main base to repair etc, they would of design the game where we couldn't do it. If someones in own team main base, not like they can attack every point on the map or kill players any where on the map. It's a video game, let people play how they want, long as they don't use exploits or abuse glitches. (only talking about how people play the game, not what they say or type in it).

Johnnie wasn't in his team main base that long before someone yelled for the admin. it's sad that on evga game servers, you can't return to your own team main base to repair or to avoid the enemy, when that is part of Battlefield. If DICE didn't want us to be able to return to our own team main base, they would of design the map to where we couldn't do it. Players on the other team were upset that they couldn't kill him, he avoided the enemy repair bot by using his team main base to stay alive and have a chance to repair his tank. In my opinion, nothing wrong smart gameplay like that.

Would probably help to see a recording of the whole thing. They dont punish anyone for going back to base for a quick repair, but definitely dont want players to camp there for an extended ammount of time, assuming you are not fullcapped at that time.

Sorry i don't record my gameplay that often. No one would want to watch me miss enemy players right in front of me. I seen ijohnnie all over the map, i even repaired him a few times through out that map too. It came down to players on the other team upset that he managed to get away from them. A player should be able to return to own team main base whenever they choose, the main base is part of the game. Hopefully one day evga will get rid of that rule.

If put like that i definitely agree to it, the thing is if you completely get rid of that rule you might as well remove the no baserape one too because you will have conflicts. Its more about how strictly it gets enforced.

It's not just EVGA. I've played on servers where mods are clueless and will kick you for things like assuming your name is derogatory or offensive, without even knowing what it is. Suffice to say my normal Player Name in games is a character from a 90s TV show who's first name happens to be the name of a town where a mass shooting happened. A mod automatically assumed I was making a political/offensive statement and kicked me.

Admins aren't perfect, but are humans too. I do notice that players will break the rules, then post in the forums on how they were mistreated, after the Admins were doing what they were supposed to do. This happens every gaming event. Then others will defend the players, and they weren't even there. I've noticed some players will complain just to complain. That is their journey in life. The Admins take a lot of abuse, and I commend them for sticking around, and still take the time to help out the servers.

I can't remember seeing anyone baserape in BF4, nothing like what happened in BF2 days. The only thing i see is the other team stealing vehicles from the enemy main base. *update* I do remember that video someone made of them shooting down aka_STEVE_b chopper right as he was leaving the main base. That was due to low number of players on the server at the time, if the server was full, would of been a harder for it to happen. XrayMan Admins aren't perfect, but are humans too. I haven't seen anyone mention one server admins name. It swings both ways, some people will defend the admins when they know the admin was in the wrong. They defend the server admin because they don't like the member for whatever reason. We even hear of forum moderator leaking what members say in forums ticket back to the server admin the member was trying to report. When members hear about that happening, it causes them to lose trust in evga. Ijohnnie didn't even know why he was kicked from the server, he came back in after being kicked to ask why. The only message i seen in-game was "get that tank out of main base" (something like that), i didn't see admin text in yellow or brown yell text to get player attention. It's easy to hit the "H" key without noticing it. When that happens it hides in-game chat. Most of my comments have been about the server rule, haven't been bashing the admin that kicked him, didn't even mention that admins at all.

ijohnnie was on my team. I didn't complain about him or say a word about him in-game. I seen other players calling him a hacker because he had like 65-0 kill streak in the tank. I think it was players being sour because they couldn't kill him and ruin his kill streak.

EVGA servers seem to have their own rulles which change according to whoever is the Mod on duty. Just my observation from reading the many complaints here on the forum.

The rule was put in place when teams like PTC and CFA were coming in and stacking sides. It wasnt hard for the competitive players to push a team into their base and make it not a fun game to play. I kicked him, I warned and kicked just as protocol warrants. Its one thing to be running from an EOD bot, it is totally another to be running from an EOD bot while still killing lots of people that are not shooting into your base. You call it abuse I call it keeping the game fair.

ijohnnie was told to "get that tank out of the main base". As soon as you come out RU base on Zavod 311 map, if the enemy controls point A or B, they can attack before you make it to the edge of "out of bounds area" for the enemy. That is why it's bad to forbid players from going back into own team main base area or shooting out from it. On some of the maps, if the other team controls the capture points just outside your team main base, you have to be able to attack from inside your own team main base area to be able to push out. If not, you will be a sitting duck once you cross the "out of bounds area" for the enemy near your main base. I think evga needs to take another look at that restrictive gameplay rule. A player shouldn't be forced to push out his own main base area if the enemy is just outside it. (lets be fish in a barrel for the enemy)

I wouldn't consider keeping the game "fair" by not allowing team stuck in it's own main base not to be able to shoot enemies just outside it. The other team has the rest of the map they can go to. If ijohnnie drivers right out of his teams main base without shooting, he would be fish in a barrel.

Maybe evga will open up a discussion after the events is over, to see what the community think about "not allowed to return to own main base or can't shoot enemy camping 50meters from it, before leaving the main base area. I don't know of any popular BF4 server that forbids you returning to your own base or doesn't allow you to attack while inside your own main base, if the enemy is camping like 50meters from it. EVGA gaming already had a rule to stop enemy team from attacking the other teams main base.JoeyC added onto that rule by not allowing you to camp/ attack from your own main base. I don't think he understoods battlefield game, or he would of never made that rule in the first place. The rule JoeyC added had nothing to do with competitive clans pushing enemy back to their own main base. (only reason i mentioned JoeyC name is because he was the evga employee managing evga gaming servers when the rules were changed)

Sounds to me somebody was crying like carebears and complained that they couldn't attack because the enemy was in the "out of bounds", or their own base. Many years ago I played Star Wars Galaxies (If any of you don't know, it was an MMO back in the day, regarding star wars). One of the main events they had was on a Planet called, Restus, and it involved a certain area for PVP. Once you crossed the line, you were flagged for PVP. So, whether you were Rebel or Imperial, the enemy would attack you if they were present. This particular area sounds exactly like SWG. Once you cross the line, the enemy can then attack you. If the Enemy controls the whole map, and the adversaries are stuck at their base, it would be fair for the adversaries to have some sort of advantage. This rule definitely needs to be eliminated. If the weaklings want to cry, let them cry elsewhere. Obviously they are not cut for a server that has a more realism to it, and they need every advantage they can get to win. In other words, cheating to win. Obviously I'm not missing much.
