Well I have done more research and it appears that there are no projects for what I might be interested in pursuing...........looks like I stick with Folding for now.

What are you looking for ? I do WCG they are pretty close to same as folding at home with what they do .
Here is where you can find out a little more on different projects  I am not sure how up to date they are though .

GPU grid is a good project to do with GPU it is in the BIO research.

We have a primegrid challenge in a couple days if you would like to join in you are more than welcome to do so.
Many of us do both folding and crunching.
WCG is a good project that is looking for cures for cancer, ebola, Zeka virus, AIDS virus and so on.
Just use the CPU for there. leave a thread open for each GPU folding.

What ever you want to do as much or as little or none at all is ok
We are laid back here on the crunching side. Few of us like the challenges that goes on.
We do well as a team in primegrid and in WCG too.

    Thanks for stopping in.
