I am growing fairly fond of mouse acceleration lately. I recently started working at a job that requires me to navigate with speed and efficiency about 250 accounts in 7.5 hours... I've been finding that mouse acceleration actually speeds me up. After using it at work, I feel less accurate without it on the PC at home now.

Most gamers hate mouse acceleration, but I am growing to actually like it.

Nothing is wrong with it.  Most gamer's don't use it because it's an extra factor to account for when moving, but it can be learned.  The human brain is more than capable of it.  Some professional gamers do use it because there can be advantages once you have learned to control it such as better accuracy control in games that you need to make both large (to move around quickly) and small (to aim) movements.

I definitely like to use it on my desktop because it is a lot easier on the wrist and you don't have to move your mouse as far, but you still can get fine precise accuracy when moving slowly.  I never really bothered to learn to adjust to it for gaming so I have it disabled for games.

I prefer the raw input (no acceleration) with about 1800 DPI both in-game and on the desktop.

I hate it, it's another factor to compensate for opposed to raw input where my cursor moves exactly as I intend it to.

It's all user preferences, at work I do have my mouse input setup to be higher and I do notice it gets work done more efficiently.

Maybe my mouse acceleration is on.... How do you turn it off? I notice a big difference when I'm gaming!
I still remember kicking butt in counter-strike before I upgraded to windows 7. Is there an option somewhere that I can change mouse acceleration? I looked in the default mouse options and my corsair m60 drivers, nowhere does it say specifically "mouse acceleration"
