So its been a while since I posted. Found out that my hdd was the culprit. My bro just so had a old hdd with nothing on it. So I installed win7. Got everything loaded up and installed. Ran my game trial and it ran like it should. played a good three hours no crashes.
Will the hdd still be good for storage or will it start to lose data as well. I plan to get a 120 or 250 ssd(120 most likely) samsung 840 evo. Load OS and the few games I play and be done. I noticed the read/write are different between the 120 and 250. Is there a reason? Like the smaller drive needs less read/write because or the size or how does that work out??
New to the ssd thing. Any help would be great thanks!

Yeah scratch that HDD post. It's nothing hard drive related. I played long enough on the old HDD and it finally crashed. So i put mine back in, and now I'm here thinking of what kind of power supply I should buy. I have a RMA pretty much setup for this one. But i don't want to be out of a PSU for over a week or more. And PSU suggestions? Looking at a 700ish watt PSU for the temp, until I send out and receive me new one

Hey no probs man, always happy to help when ever I think I know how to xD Well if you really want the best advice, PSU wise, just get a SeaSonic PlatinumX 860, these are the finest of all 850+ watt PSU's on the market, even for today They may cost a bit more, but you do get for what you pay for and as PSU's go this part if very important, stable power flow and PSU reliability are one of the most important parts of the computer, it's where you get your power from. Here a review of the PlatinumX 860, which is possibly the best PSU on the market: http://www.anandtech.com/show/5464/seasonic-platinum-series-860w/6 "The larger Platimax models (>1000W) from Enermax might have more extras than the Platinum 860W, but Seasonic includes plenty of extras as well and at least matches what you get with the Platimax 750W. The 60 to 65cm motherboard and GPU connectors are extremely long, and the Platinum 860W can support up to four PEG, eleven SATA, and eight HDD connections. In particular, the number of SATA connectors is very satisfying, and the high quality cable sleeving is another reason to buy this product."

Yeah I was actually looking at one of those last night. But I was reading the reviews just now and multiple people were stating that Corsair PSU's were made by Seasonic?? Or is it only a select few? /edit But I'm also tossed on doing an upgrade anyway. I have a p55 FTW mobo, rockin the ever so hot 480 hydrocopper, and an oldish i7 860 2.80. Would the upgrade really be worth the money or should i just wait for the new chipset/ddr4 boards to come out? If I do upgrade, it'll be a few years before I do it again. Like, when ddr4 ram is as cheap as ddr3 lol. $10 a gig

SeaSonic is made by SeaSonic, Corsair makes their own stuff, but nothing touches the quality and reliability of a SeaSonic PSU Perhaps some so called "wannabe's" told you that, eh?

No it was page 2 or 3 on that review page you linked me to. Couple people were stating that the corsair 850 or something the rather, were made by seasonic. Idk if they do, probably not. Just stating thats what I saw lol
