I'm really confused, take a look at these 2 970's.

Now what is the difference between the 2? they are the exact same card but what justify's the 20$ price difference? and also 1 box says g1 gaming while the other doesnt, what exactly does that mean?

The main difference is that they are both Gigabyte on an EVGA forum ;-)

LoL. (P. S., I can't open the link on my phone, so... Give me a few.)

You should do this... Ignore Amazon (I got to the links) and use the manufacturer as your question for the differences. Going to Gigabyte shows there are vast difference.

    http://www.gigabyte.com/p...-page.aspx?pid=5212#ov

Remember, Amazon is not a reliable source of pricing or information compared to the manufacturer of the card.

Amazon didn't even list clocks for one of the cards, so that shows how reliable it is.

Oh wow. I guess the g1 is the overclocked version, the extra 20$ would def be the better buy. Thanks.

    Look in the customer Q&A.

G1 has a backplate, it's longer and base/boost clocks are slighty higher.
