I just recently bought some SSD's on Newegg and went to write reviews on them and notice that one almost doubled in price and the other was over double the price I paid less then a month ago.

Anyone else notice this trend?

Strange, I've noticed many brands selling at good prices. Check other online stores.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

They were at a good price, that's why I bought them. I wouldn't buy them for the price Newegg has them for now. One drive I bought for $108.99 is now $188.45, the other drive I bought for $49.99 and is now $108.45 and at that time both drives had ShopRunner 2Day free delivery option which is now gone from both drives.

Online retailers have been known to changes prices on the fly based on information they have collected on you. They probably know you drive a porsche.

That is strange considering its been a downward trend in prices for a while. Id chalk it up to a temporary hickup and pass on buying them.

Newegg can be horrid on supply and demand even if only lowish stock.

amazon also changes their prices weekly. I don't know how many times I have seen the same product for less and gotten a refund. Also, SSD prices are becoming more volatile (for the better). I am pretty sure we will see great saving come this holiday season :)

I've noticed them only going down in the 500GB+ range. Some of the smaller sizes fluxuate for some reason. Awhile ago 250 Evo's were going for 79.99-89.99 now their back to around 90-110. I just snagged 2x 500GB ones off BestBuy after price matching for $159.99 a piece.

If it was Newegg - it's probably those funky "marketplace sellers" they have allowed to sell things at ridiculous costs , at times.....  Not liking that EBAY-style trend over at newegg.

I bet that might be most of the issue, if you browse below the price sometimes it will show a different seller doing exactly this. Depending on product and stock it could be several sources selling on Newegg. Very few have been reasonable imo.
