belatu He must have only played recon. Try playing assault if you want some real action. Also, has anyone been able to figure out how to change there mouse sensitivity separately for vehicles and land, especially flying? I use a mouse with on the fly DPI adjustment. It works great for this. I max out the dpi in the tank and I can get the turret to work pretty fast. When I jump out I have to turn it down again to have any control. The mouse I'm using http://store.razerzone.co...00/categoryId.35208800

doorules lieut89 hellshealer im goin tohave to say thums down.... this is realy not my type of game, it really slow paced and cartoonish. its not something i would play over nd over Maybe WOW is more your flavor? Slow paced and cartoonish? This game in multiplayer is about as frenetically fast paced as a PC game gets. If you're not on the move in this game, you are toast in an instant. lmao, lol, half the people in any one server are camped out on the staionary targets, with tanks, helos, noob tubes, uav's, camp fest of the highest order, now if you like that than this is your game Not sure how you played and who you played with, but I am on the move non stop in this game. Rarely does anyone camp for long (especially if you have a good squad). The only people that camp are snipers, and most of them are terrible. Good snipers are often moving too. If you want to win you need to be moving often, even on defense.

Finally got this game! Thought it would be unplayable with my aging system since it's a CPU heavy game with havok physics. However, turns out i get a 50-70 solid FPS count on 2560x1440 with everything maxed, HBAO on, 16AF, no AA but this monitor has an insanely high PPI count so that doesn't really matter. This is easily my favorite online shooter in the DX10 generation, CoD4/WaW/MW2 are just way too heavy on lvling, which i guess the kids who have time on their side enjoy.

I get much less and I'm on a E8600 @ 4Ghz and 2 GTX260 in SLI. Problem is they don't seem to scale too well, they run both at 50% GPU usage and not much more.

Yeah, multiplayer, got the CPU running at 3.0 now but it's not severely taxed - the GTX280s reach like 70-85% utilization - at this resolution the CPU doesn't seem to come into play for me at all.

1920x1200. I should be getting the same fps since it's yeah less GPU but also much less res. And the CPU is the same.

The latest driver helps with SLI in this game. I just had to change my MOBO due to a PSU fail and the problems I was having got worse. Now I run around at 100 MPH, was this a patch improvement?

ok so I bought this game over last weekend. My thoughts are that the game is good, but not great. Pros: Visuals, gameplay, destructible environments, upgrades Cons: Very buggy/choppy in game for me, cant type when you die, servers dont update ping and hard to get any favorites to save, WHERE THE FREAKIN JETS? But not a bad game. I enjoy all the fun of getting in a heated battle with assault. Oh, so fun.

That's what I read in the notes, but I haven't checked FPS. I will have to check. So, I am using quad SLI. When I was setting up the OC on the replacement board I got graphic pixel anomalies. I went back to the last driver, but it still happened until I got the OC figured out. I then reinstalled the latest driver back again and played for a few hours Sunday with no issues but one. For a very short time I experienced tearing with v-sync off but that was it. It worked great and was a big improvement with lag, PCI, and a mouse problem I was having before w/ the old MOBO.

This is probably nothing new to most of you, but it only took me 17 levels to realize something about my RECON position...A nice way to gauge your shot is to press and hold the fire button, which keeps your scope on the enemy and you see where the shot lands so you can adjust....crap, if I knew this before I would have been a little better!!! As it stands I fire and duck, fire and duck...I'm the sniper all of you hate!

There is only 1 map for both Rush Mode and Conquest Mode. The sad part is that there arent new maps. They just took 1 map from Conquest and made it as a rush and viceversa We got played like lotto man....
Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. When you abuse it, it reverses on you and it hurts you.The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.

I played the new Rush map and I was so turned around on it I could not tell which way the enemies were coming from. The other Rush maps are very direct - ie there is a direct line from camp to camp, but in this one I was turned around in the damn jungle. I'm guessing it is no different than other Rush maps, but for a first time I felt like an idiot running with my head cut off - though in the process of one match I did cut-off/knife about 6 people as a part of my 8 kills...haha, I love knifing, too bad it took me a while to start using it.

Ok, had a chance to play this quite extensively now and i'm still impressed! The hit registry of the frostbite engine doesn't have the same smooth feeling as CoD which is a shame, but this isn't really meant to be played like CoD. What i like most about this game is the sense of realism. It's better than any RL military exercise i've ever participated in - you never feel safe, the sound is alarming, bullets and flack rain everywhere and even when you're in a vehicle you're very exposed. I've never been to war and i hope i'll never have to - but this captures the adrenaline pumping thrill (with the risk being a worse K:D ratio, not mutilation or death :p) in the same way a good war movie does. My only real big gripe with the game is that they could have made online play a lot easier to embrace. I'll speak from my own experience here: for a long while i'd run around, happily participating in squad rushes, keep my trigger finger pumping and doing my best to survive. However - it soon became apparent that while one burst from my assault rifle would only wound enemies unless i shot them in the head or softened them up with grenades first; while they would only need one stream of random spam bullets to hit me for me to go down. This got old really fast and i started thinking - do i even hit them properly at all? So, coincidentally i joined a Kill Cam: ON game and thus found out what was going on. The people i bursted who bursted me back and killed me instantly all lost health - they went down to like 24% but the difference was that they were using either Magnum Ammo (most of them) or Body Armor. Turns out i don't really need a better weapon or better aim - i need an upgrade i get at rank 15. My proposal to fix this would be to have < rank 15 servers that appear with a "Recommended" tag on them since the magnum ammo upgrade is so pivotal. Playing with >15 people which i do now (currently at rank 8) just encourages cheesy play - 40mm grenade spam with the ammo box to keep replenishing while farming kills on rush games is basically THE best way to contribute as you're leveling assault. As a medic you can keep your squad up, as an engineer you can focus on killing enemy armor and recon doesn't need magnum ammo to have a 1-shot kill weapon, the first sniper works. Now, i'm determined to keep leveling assault so rush games with nade spam is what i'll do - but it's seriously stupid. I should have the M16 by the time i hit 15 though so i guess it's just an initial grind you'll have to endure in any shooter these days. Sub 15 servers would help a lot though! At 15 i might join the EVGA server for a few games but the ping is ridiculous (i'm a euro****) so we'll see. Great game though!

Medic is the best class for quick points (of course they don't even give you the defib in the start....that is stupid). Just have to tough it out for a while. Those first 15-18 levels fly by.

Have played on the EVGA server with a ping of ~150 and to me there's little lag. Only time I see it is when I try to knife someone. Hanni has said on another thread that he plays with a much higher ping. I also have a single digit rank so thanks for posting all that info. It was beginning to get on my nerves.

I would not fall for playing with lower ranked players. Players with higher ranks can only make you better not worse. Do not worry about stats.

I think this game pisses me off more than any other game in recent memory. It always feels like I shoot guys 20 times and they end up killing me, or I'm blasting a guy point blank and he just knifes me, or I shoot a guy in the head twice with the shotgun from a few feet away and he still lives, or I'm shooting someone with the shotgun and they are right under my cross hair but no hits when I shoot at them, or someone is always there to shoot me point blank with the M2 rocket launcher or tube grenade launcher, or times when 1/2 of their team or my team is camping with sniper rifles somewhere behind a bush, or the ridiculous M60 machine gun, or the broken auto balance, or the lack of any kind of team shuffling between maps. ...I can't stop playing...

@ VooDooPC lol @DMIINC I agree with you totally. The best way to learn is to play people better than you. Kill Cam on servers is very helpful for this too as you can watch how successful people play, (but then again it does make the game less realistic).

Can someone explain to me how this guy is ranked so high...he's got like 400 kills and he's on the leader board in the top 10. He's got no high points in anything I can figure out, yet his recon and medic scores are through the roof. He's not got lots of flag captures, or mcom's destroyed or even missions played (91)...how the hell is his score even possible. http://bfbcs.com/stats_pc/112KinG

InputUsername Hanni InputUsername Finally got this game! You get that on multiplayer? I get much less and I'm on a E8600 @ 4Ghz and 2 GTX260 in SLI. Problem is they don't seem to scale too well, they run both at 50% GPU usage and not much more. Yeah, multiplayer, got the CPU running at 3.0 now but it's not severely taxed - the GTX280s reach like 70-85% utilization - at this resolution the CPU doesn't seem to come into play for me at all. This is strange. I tried your setting to see what I would get. CPU @ 4.05, 4gig MEM @ 1800, quad SLI Physx off. AA @ 1, 197.13 driver, 1920x1200. I have a 790i Ultra now. Vsync off. I'm getting avg. 50 fps in mp while walking around. My CPU seemed to max at times but my GPU's don't really work much. I was having problems with game play. I had MOBO probs. and changed it. It helped with bigger issues, but not with what peeps are saying "shoot someone a lot and they don't dye" plus general lag and mouse problems not tracking quit the way it should when aiming. So, I got fed up and just tried turning everything to as low as it could go. The mouse worked better and it did make a notable diff. in my game play on the same server. After reading this, I thought try it on high but no AA. Although, I had tried turning AA down I never turned off. It was much better. It was basically the same results for me as turning everything to low, but with better looks. I guess a quad core might be the answer or an X58 but anyway I'm not turning AA back on.
