What is the different between these two GTX 960 4GB SC Gaming?

Hi all, 
I am looking to get this card and then i found another identical card which make me very confused!
Product ID: 04G-P4-3962-KR   and the 04G-P4-1962-KR , Here link to Amazon site:     and
 
So I shoot an email to evga , the replied was 3962 is newer version. 
In the meantime I did some more digging, I found, BHphoto listed 3962 (no longer available) same as newegg site. And Strangely 3962 is not listed in evga website, however they have 3961 (enough confusing yet?)
So i quickly reply to the supporttw to verify his answer and model, no reply. I have email them afew time aready since newegg has special deal last week, no reply!!
 
So i am here to ask for help from you guys.
 
Would very much appreciated for your inputs.
 
PS: If you click on Amazon  <- this one, and where it said *Recommended PSU: 400W or greater power supply* right below it: and it said " There is a newer model of this item: link to the 1962.

    I think 1962 is the newer model. I bought the 3962 just a month ago though since it was $10 cheaper on Amazon.

    I asked EVGA this same question back then and they were non responsive.

    I believe, since this revision was ONLY made for the 4GB card, there initial model may have not be well designed. Perhaps in terms of thermals they improved the newer version, or power delivery. Who knows.

    I hope EVGA can officially respond. If it was a major revision, I can consider returning it to Amazon and get the new version. I have June 11 to do so.

    Thank you  himmatsj.  That what i would have thought, because BHphoto also discontinued 3962 and newegg also got rid of it. 
    But why would the email send to me by evga said 3962 is newer version? maybe mistaken for 3961? or it was a typo

    Ok, so I just decided to email EVGA support (Taiwan), and wow they promptly replied in a few minutes with this:

    Dear Customer

    Our RD feedback that they are the same specification and almost the same performance. Just different GDDR5 memory chip & combination  (1962)256M*32*4pc & (3962)128M*32*8pc) and they come with the same amount of memory.

    The newer launch model should be 04G-P4-1962-KR.

    then when i got notification of forum replied, same wording dejavu me abit hehehe.
     
    Look like i am going to order the 1962 tomorrow also, Amazon just jack up the price to $219.99USD now. yesterday was $199

    I honestly think there should be no major difference. Just wait until my other thread gets a reply from one of the experienced forum members to see just what exactly is the difference between the two configurations. 
     
    I think the 1962-KR version was going for $189.99 a few days back. Perhaps that was the stock clearance in anticipation of the 1000-series cards, and they may be low on stock at the moment so that's why the prices have all gone back up. Apparently production of the 900-series cards (not including 950) stopped a while back, so I don't know if it will get back cheaper.
