What is a DataCenter Hard drive and is $199. a good price for a 4TB one?  http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822236350

I use a WD red HD for my storage drive and I was wondering if this DataCenter drive was a better drive.  Does any one have any experience with these drives?

Generally, "data center" hard drives are considered to be more robust and higher quality than "consumer" hard drives.  Enterprise-class requires better reliability, and hard drives in this class are generally more expensive than consumer hard drives.  You'll also normally find that data center class drives have longer warranties than consumer class drives.

I haven't any experience with these specific hard drives, but I use many WD reds for my NAS drives, and I wouldn't use anything else except for Hitachi drives...

WOW! $199 That is a Still, but is an older Model and less Cache
As stated above they are also meant to say on forever unlike a computer that gets turned off at night by most.

WD velociraptors would be considered a data center drive I do believe.
I buy used on ebay 80gb WD Velociraptors that are server pulls that are wiped clean. Just got 6 160gb drives for 25$ !!!
They have a bunch of hours on them, but ones I bought a couple years ago are still running 24/7/365 crunching BOINC.
    They seem to run forever.

My NAS is a Frankenstein hodgepodge of old OEM HDDs. Never had a failure ever. One drive does click uncontrollably, but hasn't failed yet. Its been clicking for like 5 years now. lol.

That 4TB Drive though does look nice.

I was looking for a larger drive than the WD 3TB red I have now (although I only have 1/2 the my current drive full atm) when I came across this drive.  I was curious about it.
