That $3.65 is for regular unleaded. Remember, I'm in California. One of the highest taxed states in the country.  : /

$3.65 for regular octane and I have to travel 40+ miles everyday. What happened to those days when the prices were only $1.30? *sigh*

That was back when we'd buy off countries with weapons sales instead of having a social agenda. Isn't change good?

We sell a lot of our oil to you guys or have sold some fields to you guys and we get stuck with $3.78 to $4 or more per gallon prices often here in Canada :/ Figure that one out.
At least that's in Ontario, which the sales tax is 13% btw >_<

The fact that an opinion has been widely held is no evidence whatever that it is not utterly absurd.

I think at the moment it's around $97 a barrel. Also, for every $1 increase in the price of oil, you can typically expect a corresponding 2.5 cent increase in the price of gas.

This is just par for the course, every once in a while something happens to spike gas prices, sad but true.

what's funny is that my first job 8 years ago was at UPS loading boxes back in high school. i made 10 bucks an hour. they said 30 years ago people who started just like me made 10 bucks an hour... back then i drove a fairly well kept 1991 camaro that got about 11 miles a gallon... i had no spending money...

I Don't think I have ever seen prices that low in my whole life.
I currently pay $1.42-1.48 per liter for 95RON ULP which is about $5.50 per gallon in yank talk.
And it been as high as $6 per gallon.

Quote from a previous thread on the subject...

Hydrogen will be a more widely adoptable form of transport because its closer to our current life style of "Fill her up and go" much like how quickly LPG powered vehicles didn't take much adjustment just a bit of boot space.
Something of which is key to its adoption by the mass market particularly in the long run when you may be finding it hard to afford petrol in the not to distant future. Did somebody just say $3 a gallon it could be $5 or $6 in a few years could you really afford that?...
