heya guys I'm about to finally get one of these touch screen devices, will be used for internet, gaming, music, movies, pictures, wifi based phone calls, etc etc

right now I am looking at the ipod touch 5th gen, I have around $200 to spend (has to be ordered through amazon) and can get a 32GB refurbished one for that price

is thier any other devices that compare to what the 5th gen ipod touch does or is that my best option? has to be pocket size, not getting a tablet. Also should I get IOS or Android?

I can't afford the iphone, it will be cheaper for me to just make internet calls over wifi on things like Facetime or Skype

I'm prob the last person that should post about mobiles. But I do like Windows tablets. I think I read somewhere, where Intel was doing a bang4buck Windows tablet, but it depends if MS has ur wanted apps. I just can't stand Android, and won't support Apple, yeah I'm a blacksheep when it comes to Google dislikes.

well I settled on the ipod touch.... so we will see how it goes

I'm not a apple person myself, but I read they are the best in the mobile market

I got the blue 32GB Ipod touch 5th gen for $155 refurbished (New Screen and Battery) + included a usb charge cable and earbuds

    http://www.amazon.com/Apple-touch-Generation-NEWEST-MODEL/dp/B0097BEF7M

and a water proof/shock proof case for it for $17

    http://www.amazon.com/Merit-Waterproof-Underwater-waterproof-Shockproof/dp/B00RS0NVXI

so all together about $180 for the order after shipping

Funny thing is, I liked the Apple tablets over Android, but won't support Apple :) And getting the same way about Google....

But, touch screens hate me, rather use my clicky keywords/full browser(no ads) for surfing....

well thats what Siri is for, you can do some stuff on voice control instead of typing it.

and as for ads on websites, I'm sure someone out thier has an apple app to block them, just like I can do on a windows desktop computer with firefox
