So.  I can't enable nvidia surround.  I have plugged each of my three screens into all possible configs I can think of and no matter what I do anything plugged into the bottom card get's a red square instead of a green check.  Yet the cards work fine in SLI on a single screen and in windows I get vid from all DVI ports.  Weird?  I've tried three driver versions.... same thing.  What is really weird is that when you go to Span displays it only shows one card, and all three monitors are listed under vid1, there is no vid2...  It's like it wants me to put all three on the top card.

Known issue, same situation will be on all X99 motherboards, not just EVGA.

Will need a new NVIDIA driver update, release very soon but no ETA yet, will try to get an ETA.

I have a couple of customers that have the Rampage V with multiple displays.  they're not reporting any issues running multiple displays in SLI.  searched the web; nothing from other boards like gigabyte and msi

Multiple displays are fine, it is Surround + SLI that need a driver update.

Gutcheck, thank you for posting this.  I was really thinking of upgrading to the new x99 chipset and going with an EVGA motherboard this time.  I love my X79 ASUS black but just wanted something in the new x99 chipset.  This is strange how EVGA, ASUS, or any large motherboard manufacture would allow quality assurance to ever let a motherboard like this to be sold knowing this was broken or at least a disclaimer should have been posted.  Personally I have been using quad SLI 3d surround at 5760x1080 for over 3 years now through many of my upgrades and builds.  Without a known ETA this is not good, I am hoping it is something simple and not a limitation of x99.

Issues like this are always there in the beginning.  I don't blame anybody.... they will fix it.

Actually we have it working internally and it works great, it will be fixed in the next NVIDIA driver release. Release will be very soon but I don't have an exact date yet.

Thanks Jacob,  It is good to know this is not a limitation of the chipset.

At least this isn't a issue so bad that it requires Intel having all motherboards be pulled like what happened when 1155 Sandy first came out. I remember that whole fiasco.

Yeah, most definitely not an issue like that, this is software driven, and a priority to fix, it will be up and going in the near future.

My board and chip just went to the forwarding company so that I can get them. They will probably arrive right as the fix is released. :-) looking forward to what is to come with this lineup.

Now that I think of it.... this exact same issue happened when x79 came out.  It was fixed within a driver release.

Yes it was, I had hadn't thought of it, but yes, pretty much the same type situation.

Yup, remember it well:)  How are ya brother?!

I think this will be the first time that I waited and didn't pick up board/chip on launch day.  Waiting this time to see how things go.  I will be watching this thread and all X99's closely :)  I can't wait to upgrade!
