Week old build; EVGA Supernova 550watt G2 buzzing under GPU load.

Hello;
 
I recently noticed while I was adjusting side panel for my case, that under GPU load (i.e gaming), the PSU is buzzing. There is a very slight buzzing noise on desktop, but it greatly increases when I fire up a game. My original gpu was a R9-380x; but have since upgraded to a gtx 970 (NVIDIA branded reference card). Is this cause for concern? The 970 I have does have slight coil whine, but if I put my ear up next the air grill of the PSU, you can really hear it; I game in a pretty quiet room.

    You mention that you had an R9-380x and now you have the GTX 970. Did you ever have this PSU running the R9 and did you get the buzzing noise then?

    I got the buzzing with the R9 card also; yes. Im going to slide the psu out of the case as best as I can with the hooks up and listen for noise. Edit- Removed PSU from the case and Im getting the buzzing still, but I have to be next to the PSU to hear it. Is it possible its coil whine?

    I called support; its more than likely coil whine; if it gets worse, Ill just do an RMA with you guys.
