So it's confirmed. Very sad indeed. He was to young just like my uncle who was only 53 when he lost his fight with cancer. Rest in peace Jeffrey.

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. When you abuse it, it reverses on you and it hurts you.The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.

If it was indeed cancer that took him what do you think about arranging something like dedicate a day of folding to him? I fold for another team but I can bring a rig online here for that.

Wouldn't be an honorable thing to do if you just go ahead and do it? instead of finding the true cause of his dead?

No disrespect to anyone or anything. I do not think the obituary posted is legit. Read it and think about it, who puts any info such as blue ribbons and what have you into one ? Someone has started a horrible rumor and until I see what I think is legit proof, it is hog-wash.
I mean no disrespect either but yeah I kinda feel the same way. If this is all a hoax its one in bad form and the person(s) responsible need to be flogged. If its legit then my condolences to his family as he will be missed.

By the way everyone any further posts showing disrespect or suggesting this was a hoax will find that post deleted. If it turns out to be something so horribly bad then I will take the blame and not the OP. The OP did not point me to the obituary I found that 8 minutes after it was posted and I found it on my own.

Nonetheless Jeffrey still had over 800,000 folding points and although that is not a lot it may have been a lot to him. I say let someone take charge of a one day folding day for him and let's push him over 1 million or more folding points. Let's see if we can make him and his family proud.
