How much is EVGA PPD affected by poor performance of new nV GPUs in FaH ?

we have the ability to beat them as a team, but right now with the issues we have been having lately of infighting - people leaving - people switching to crunch and of course the slowdown due to summer heat (servers would much more immune to this)
 
during our record month we showed we could keep [H] at bay. It's the matter of rallying the troops, trying to set goals and keeping the team folding that is the issue.
 
All I can say is lets keep the pressure on team...lets do some recruiting...we need it both for our team to keep the horde at bay and for our chances to win back the chimp

I know you mean well, so please see this as a fellow member who is just voicing thoughts on it. Not a bash or anything like that.
 
You do realize that most that left folding made that decision and announced it BEFORE we started Crunching? It is "The" reason I started the thread asking if we should build a team. THEN we started a team and as folks followed through with their  reasons to leave folding they started Crunching. They did not "Leave" Folding to go Crunching.
 
I do not appreciate this being used as an excuse or offered in a negative way. This was a way to not only expand our reach, and offerings to those looking for more or a change, it allows us to stay together as a team, and not see what has happened the previous four years where folks just left...
 
Crunching is HUGE with all the other top teams. Yet we do not see them use it as an excuse. 
 
Crunching is similar to Folding yet has a lot more to offer to every single person and the equipment they have to offer.

 just the reality is that we made the team and there was some associated cost as to the whole combined team goes.This is a fact.

what we can do is quit fighting about it. the main goal should be growing both...
when we do that we get crunchers(we recruited) moving to folding and vice versa (we get crossover).

Now that is good stuff there, and reality. That is different than the original post...
 
And oh yeah! I for one do the same. I am done with F@H as my main contribution to the team. Crunching is for me. However for contests and when our team needs help, I will and do bring all but one system over to fold 
 
We are all one team. The challenge is when you get so many folks in a text form of communication, that has no way of seeing how we as humans actually communicate (Tone of voice, body language, ETC), it can cause unclear communication.

I was more alluding to the fact with so many good projects to do, that it makes a tough choice of what projects to pick and on what days.

Well even we are using it as well and I think if I'm reading the charts correctly we even have more active users than them. 1000+ vs 600 and were still losing ground. But hopefully with HPCS gone we shall see normal numbers again? Unless people start paying for it lols. Anywho, next month approaches which means our 350k'ers will return lol.

I'm pushing all I got for 2 months now for the cause. Sucks I'm going on vacation. Hopefully to find a job on my trip so I can relocate myself soon. Then I can build another rig soon after for the cause :)

Just cheer them on if or when they pass by, as we are all Folding partners in this great effort!  They had to sit back for a long time while we just ran away with the crown with no hope to touch us.  Now that table has turned and we are in that same situation.  [H] didn't lose faith or sight of their goals to Fold-on every day and neither should we.  All of this is goodness as the two top Folding Teams worldwide keep "setting the bar" in Folding performance. 

Should have a random drawing to the top 500 "active" folders :) That should be roughly everyone active within the top 1000 on our team :P

owell. Fold on! When HPCS die out the numbers should balance out to what each team is actually producing. As far as I'm concerned, HPCS Instances on canceled accounts are still working and people are still folding for free till they remove those instances. People taking advantage cause their accounts are deleted and protected from charge. Even I confirmed this with HP that theres no charge if your account has been canceled. So let your instances fold on till they delete them.
