Hello, just a quick question about Rad requirements for a CPU and single Gpu loop. Would two Alphacool NexXxoS UT60 Full Copper 140mm Rads be enough? Could I get away with a single Alphacool NexXxoS Monsta 140mm?

NexXxoS Monsta: 186 x 144 x 86mm

NexXxoS UT60: 186 x 144 x 60mm

Secondly, does anyone have experience with this particular Res/Pump combo? Will a DDC 310 be sufficient?

Thanks all! =)

I'd say no to one 120x60 rad
Give this a read 10 times then do it once.
Should get you where you need to go. GL

Thanks for the link, I am however not new to watercooling. I should have mentioned that I am restricted to only 1x140mm intake in the front, 1x140mm up top,and 1 x120mm in the rear of the chassis. So my option are limited with such little space. I have never done a custom loop in a mini-ITX chassis before.

Nice butt I see your dilemma.
If you need the drive cage then buy a blower style GPU and use one rad for the CPU.
Two rads wouldn't leave much room for a pump/res but I think you made a good choice there.
You could always go with an external setup

That is a pretty cool stand for an external unit. I think I'm gonna ditch the cage altogether leaving room for two rads... I just don't know if two UT60's will cut it? Maybe two Monsta's? Kinda pricey though. This build won't happen until Zen is released and hopefully there will be a ROG board available, so in the meantime I'm kinda planning things out and doing some case mods.

Fatter rad the better is my guess.

I've been thinking a lot about Zen too no doubt it will makes it's way into the Lair if it's what they claim it will be. Time will tell.

IMHO 2 120x120x60 would work with no overclocking if your intentions are to have a somewhat silent environment. The problem with most small form factor cases is airflow in and out. When it comes to watercooling I always overkill and the result is less noise which is typically why most get into watercooling to begin with. For example the difference in 45mm thick and 65mm thick rads is nominal at 600 to 1200 RPM which is synonymous with low noise. 140mm fans are typically quieter than their 120mm counterparts at the same RPM  but suffer from static pressure. Hence the challenge of making wise component choices. You first have to determine what you expect your end result to be. You also have to consider watercooling main parts like rads pumps and fitting have great longevity meaning they will be around for your convenience for many builds to come. What's considered overkill now may not be what is in the future so unless replacing old stuff is you cup of tea there is that to consider as well. I for one am tired of buying to suit the case of the day and currently in the process of eliminating that encumbrance by building two pedestals that contain one each of this to cover my water cooling needs for two gaming rigs in the Lair one green and one red team ;). The cases will sit on top and be decoupled by quick disconnects to facilitate maintenance and upgrades.  In this way I can use any case, add any new system I choose and all will be more than covered in terms of cooling. This revelation comes after 15 years of watercooling so it's not without thinking it through. What I end up with will last me many moons and many builds to come.
