Hey all :)

Now before I start, I know some of you prefer EVGA or NVIDIA based GPU's and that is all fine by me, each to their own ya know :)
Just please no drama in this topic that lead to flame wars, as I will report such posts.

So since yesterday I been using my new GPU based on the AMD Polaris 10 Architecture and built upon the 14nm Fin-FET die process, making this GPU named Ellesmere the smallest GPU in the world :)
The Polaris 10 I chose was the Sapphire Nitro+ AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB 256Bit GDDR5, so here some pics of the box, it's contents the card and finally the card in the system :)
The Reason I bought this card is because it fulfills all my needs and I could afford it after saving up fora good 8 months.
My incomes are a lot less due to being 100% disabled, so no ore high end GPU's from me this time, even I do try to get them, such things will take lots more time.
The Sapphire Nitro+ RX 480 8GB was my choice since it performs best for my resolution 1920x 1200 and  since I am a retro gamer I can run all my games fine at 3840 x 2400p without issuest thanks to AMD's Enhanced VSR Technology, this works very well, I don't like them 16:9 Aspect ratio monitors I prefer 16:10 Aspect Ratio, but since there are no 4K monitors that allow 16:10 Aspect Ratio, this is the ultimate solution to take out that problem and I have to admit it works very well
Also love the AMD Crimson Catalyst Drivers, they never gave me issues and there are no latency issues either

Anyways enough of that xD
The packaging is simple as are it's contents, no extra fancy crap, that will only make it more expensive, that to which I like, just pay for what you need and nothing else :)

And that's it, I will see how Doom 2016 does with Vulkan API @ 3840x 2400 with my 24 Cores as well, since Doom 2016 is well programmed it's worth finding out, I will keep you guys updated on how that goes, so stay tuned!

you tried running a VR headset(cv1) from that card yet? if so would be interested to find out your thoughts, my old R9 290PCS+ was better at VR than my new 1080ftw fair enough the R9 has a full waterblock attached
