I recently stepped up my gtx 980 ACX2.0 to a gtx 980 ti ACX2.0. I still have the backplate for the 980. Would it be okay to use this backplate on the 980 ti? Thanks.

    i do not see a problem as long as everything line-up/same PCB..
    but i heard they all are the same PCB

    I would like to know this too. If it works, i can re-skin the 980 one into a Ti

    The backplate for the 980 is similar to that of the 980 Ti. The one for the 980 Ti has more thermal pads. See below.
