Upgrading to sli 1440p

I play on 1440p screen with a single gtx980 sc acx2.0.
Now I'm thinking to upgrade to an SLI.
Is it worth?
Are there any "problems"?

I lay, FIFA, project cars, wolfenstein,skyrim, crysis3,...

    Personally I would think your card is fine. If you want even more frame rates then SLI is a way to go. However to give SLI maximum benefit you need to make sure your CPU and supporting hardware can benefit you and support you.
