So as the title suggests I've been looking at upgrading from my z68 board, it's the z68 sli from evga. The boards not given me much problems just have some extra money and was wondering if it's going to help trying to over clock more and allow me to use this same basic set up longer? I know my old q8400 lasted way to long and it's really preferance to how long you can keep a pc going but for the sake of my gaming and nerd raging with lag and such I'd like to try and make upgrades where they'll help avoid that.

I'm about to start streaming and or a weekly recording to post of my gaming, have tons of footage I've recorded the last 2 weeks just need to sift through all of it and delete non useful stuff. Basically I game and try to set the video settings as high as I can with my hardware.

What upgrade do you have in mind? To X99? I have a Z68 FTW running 2600k OC to 4.6 with 7870 Myst in crossfire and no game is a problem in 1080p so far.

honestly everything is a side grade, x99 will get more preformance in multi tasking but for gaming your not going to notice it

Was just wondering if there we're any reasonable upgrades. I managed to get my z8 sli board for like 29 dollars brand new a while back.
