What are we suppose to think about that ? This is ridiculous...
They will not answer to you, Employees are not allowed to comment on the subject (just escalate), they are in the full damage control phase right now, they try to mitigate the cost by trying to dumped the labor load cost on the customer, "Pads"..."Bios" . Only the Press service will be allow to comment on the subject right now. Which will not happen before at least 100 of them blow (i give it 2 weeks) and make the Internet News again. Then it'll be panic mode...

Micron fix is still present. Seems like 200-250RPMs added.

So you updated the GTX 1080 FTW's primary bios, am I right to assume that is the Master mode?

I think the link for the 1070 FTW is wrong. The link says it is for bios version 86.04.3b.00.82, but the update utility says it is version 86.04.50.00.72, which is the older version. Am I misunderstanding something?

Will the Bios update affect any custom fan curves you set using software such as Precision or Afterburner? Meaning, you should still be able to manually lower the fans if you find the new default curve to be a tad too noisy, correct?

Yes... that's why for me this bios is not necessary, I prefer to do my own fan curve... But nobody is able to give me a screenshot of the new bios curve, I'm just curious to see that

With these bios, is there any conflict with cards has samsung or micron vram? For example mine FTW has samsung, other FTW has micron, so it's the same bios to download?

The BIOS update isn't working, I click on the update the screen flashes and the BIOS window closes. I don't get the chance to press Y. I check the GPU BIOS in GPU-z and it still shows 86.04.17.00.80.

I will contact them, I'm running Gigabyte 990FX-Gaming Motherboard with an AMD FX-8350.

Hello, I have a 08G-P4-6276-KR - EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 FTW ACX 3.0 and flashed the new BIOS. GPU-Z shows my BIOS is 86.04.50.00.72 (SC) but it should be 86.04.3b.00.72 (FTW). I´m 100% sure I have downloaded the correct BIOS. Is this just a bug in GPU-Z or is something wrong?

So if I have the 08G-P4-6183 model 1080 will the bios update on your first post fix the overheating issues? Just got mine yesterday and it blackscreened 10 minutes into game at 165hz ultra settings in overwatch

Ehh... My card barely peaks at ~1050 RPM while usually being less. Soooo.... I assume it wouldn't go up to 2000 RPM even after this VBIOS but I think I'll still just apply the pads only.
