I've read from multiple sources that FrozenCPU will be closing. There is a thread over on OCN about it. You can find it here http://www.overclock.net/...zencpu-shuts-its-door. At this time there has been no official announcement from the company. But hardware reps from Swittech, and CaseLabs have confirmed The closing.

www.performancepcs.com is just as good if not better.
    They are located in Florida.

I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars at Frozen CPU over the years, stinks to see them go.

Probably a good idea without an official confirmation. And it sounds like a rep might be getting in some trouble also.

He said that FrozenCPU is currently running a skeleton crew and to please bare with his company while the it is ramping back up to 100% employee capacity.

Yeah, like why would the owner speak with a forum member on the status instead of using his own social media or website to squash the rumor.

Well, Kyle runs [H], which has been around for a long time.  To suggest that he's just a forum member would be a complete understatement.

A quick look will tell you that the social media sites for Frozen and the owner of Frozen are infrequently used.  Frozen's owner's Twitter page (or at least appears to be his) was probably hacked at some point, given all the spam ads on it (or at least I hope it was).  I'll agree on the website, however.  Assuming the reports of orders not shipping for some time are accurate, this is one area that Frozen needs to get out a response.

I think this may be more of two separate issues - first, whether the owner has a good grasp on handling a situation like this; and second, that the FCPU owner has a good enough relationship with Kyle that this was the easiest way for him to make a statement and have it posted where people see it.  From a marketing and PR standpoint, there are much better ways of handling this sort of situation; I don't think anyone would argue that.  However, there's far too much that's unknown.  We don't know what the owner is dealing with, we don't know what he's prioritizing his time with right now with the business, and we don't know much of anything other than the very small amount of official information that's been posted back and forth.  For all we know, given the backlog of orders, he may just be spending all his time working on the backlog, and doesn't want to try to manage the flow of information right now (and with a skeleton crew, there probably isn't anyone that can be spared to handle that, either).  I can certainly understand if a person chooses to try to work on something he or she can control to help right the ship.  That doesn't mean it's the best thing to do right now, but it might be the only thing that can be done until the situation is a bit more fluid.

Wasn't aware of who Kyle was, it just seemed like another forum post.  apologies to him for sure. Hope there will be some kind of update or official statement on the website about orders and support in the near future though. Will go long way in keeping customer base through these tough times.

I heard much about this as well and i am sorry to hear of this, good online store and great support. Watched JaysTwoCents video about it and his update was that they are not closing but running on a skeleton staff while they come back up to full business strength.

Bad sign.  Pictures were posted showing the insides are trashed:

Although there's still no official confirmation one way or the other, the pictures do seem to match up with a previous tour taken by Skinnee:

Specifically, one of the offices appear to be identical.

The photos make it look like it was ransacked/vandalized and an animal (Like a dog) went through the trash afterwords. At least I hope that is the case. And not some workplace violence happened and what we are seeing/hearing is the the aftermath.

Sadly, vandalism strikes all walks of life...
