Seems to be something that should be super easy. I mean push the graphics and step down for consoles. At least that use to be the way of doing things. Hopefully FC 4 will be more than just a port.

    Windows: Windows 7
    Motherboard: Asus Rampage IV Black
    Memory: G Skill Ripjaw Z 16g DDR3-2133
    CPU: i7-4930K @ 4.4ghz
    PSU: Evga Supernova 1000P2
    GPU: GTX 980

Hahahahhahaha sure.  Make a true successor to Rainbow Six 3 with good mod support and then I'll believe you.

Too late, they already lost my support. They call 95% of PC gamers pirates, then lied about several games (Watch dogs being the recent one), and now they want to be friends??? NO thanks.

Eh.. their history supporting PC's is a bit shoddy but they did build their business on it.

I doubt they really care about the PC... they follow the demographics.  Which indicate consoles sales are down now and PC sales are growing.  I give them 2 years to play catch up.

I can care less for promises. Let's see activity. Talk and action are not interchangeable concepts.

    Just another marketing scam...

Companies that actually mean it, do it and wait for the clients to tell them they have improved. Not brag / make an announcement / advertise before even starting...

The real measure of Ubisoft is the current state of Watch Dogs and the fact that Uplay exists at all.

    I smell bs why?
Ok this is how the workflow goes, the mid grade console is the platform it is worked on at AAA studios, then it is ported to the other consoles, if the wii has it, it is giving to a team for downrezzing, ps it is normally handled by a few people to tweak things just for the ps to port, and the pc yup you guessed it ported...

I have been talking with friends, and I am to the point of wanting to just say screw it, license the gamebryo lightspeed engine just for a demo"awesome engine all the issues you see in games like fallout are pretty much bethesda's doing when they gut the engine", get enough of a following for a kickstart, I know enough talented people on just mod sites, and from college that the AAA gaming industry does not give the time of day because of the no experience...

Get enough money to just use things like social media to advertise, talk to gaming magazines to promote it, give everyone a good honest wage for good honest work, no higher ups/owners having insane salaries so that money goes into the company only,  because you need money between cycles, and nothing is worse than having your employees fearing the axe coming down on them, not having that job security. To make sure the company can surive without selling itself to some soulless corporate greed machine. Giving people without experience a shot at their dreams.

Start our games off at the PC level, then once we have enough money or can get companies like microsoft/sony to give us what we need to get our games on their hardware, downrez to them, and never sell out for a console first exclusive....

Have a company that believes in integrity, that does not get cocky but remains humble, does not give its higher ups, and owners so much money that it cannot survive when things get tough financially due to the economy to keep its employees paid, secure, and no one has to worry about selling the companies soul to greedy mongering corporations or just fall off the face of the planet one day and just let everyone go. saying opps sorry we ran out of money because we paid our higher ups, ceo's and owners so much money we don't have enough money stored away to keep our doors open anymore.

I do have a dream before leaving this earth and I am on the ledge of jumping on the opportunity to leave something great behind.

+1000.... I feel the same way. Whats amusing about the Ubi CEO is that hes so focused on making sales/what sales did/ that hes not thinking that maybe 50% of those gaming "pirates" own consoles too....and now there not gonna buy games from UBI for any platform. My hope is that the indy/kickstarter/Star Citizen experiment hits a home run and shows all the guys with talent out there that you don't have to be shackled to a scumbag company and you can keep your artistic vision AND your integrity and do it on your own with whom ever/from where ever you like. Then Yves can cry himself to sleep in the card board PC box he earned himself!  :P

Wow when will Ubi quit with the false promise crap they give pc gamers? It's always the same thing every time something they put out fails or causes issues. I now completely avoid ANY pc game that requires Ubi's DRM stuff. Even if it's a game I might be interested in.
