Ubisoft had a few of its staff visit a school to explain their work, with some truly interesting things revealed about the company who thinks 60FPS 'looks weird'. Someone asked the Ubisoft employees "what the hell happened with Watch Dogs", to which the Ubisoft employee, who was the 'Online Programmer' said that just before they release a game, they have to send a copy to console manufacturers, who tell them what to keep in the game, and what to take out.

I'm not surprised one bit to hear Microsoft and Sony are pressuring game publishers to lock games at 30fps. That way the game looks the same on all Platforms. They don't like PC being the master race.

I'm sorry but anyone who pre-orders a Ubisoft game at this point has NO right to complain after the fact

I'm so tired of inferior console dictating what games we play I'm to the point if it's made to play there too I don't want it. If it's a port they can keep it. I see a real opening for PC only games or bare minimum start out made and optimized for PC and then port to console.

Although I don't deny they are being asked to do that -- UBI could also very easily patch it back in after a short bit of time also, ...but you don't see that happening ...
I think they like the built in excuse too.

All I can say is right now, thank the lords of Rivia for CD Projekt RED who seem immune to this nonsense thus far
Luckily there are still a few developers around that really care about the product, opposed to making compromises for money... Games purpose built for PC seem to be void of these rules, 4A is another one, CD Projekt RED are trying to influence the industry for the better. Far Cry and South Park are the only interesting products Ubisoft have to offer and they always screw their products up for the sake of favoring the weaker technology... They're a monstrosity which shouldn't exist in the eyes of common sense.
