I am having issues with Ubisoft games I have a EVGA GTX 770 SC. Rainbow Six:siege shuts down my PC after just a few minutes, as far as I can tell the card is not over heating. I tried the Division closed beta and the game would freeze then ctd. I was advised to underclock my card, is this a solution? I can play any other game for as long as I want, with no issues.

Hi thank you for the reply. Rainbow six siege and The Division Beta are the only Ubisoft games I have, and the only games I have problems with. I can play any other games without having to adjust anything. for example bf4, cod black ops 3, cod advanced warfare, world of warships. Elite Dangerous. I can play all of those games for as long as I want with no issues at all. I tried the debug mode but it is grayed out, I can not use debug, I do not know why. I have a SC card

What make/model of psu are you using & how old is it? Have you tried underclocking your card to reference 770 speeds yet?

Thermaltake 850W Tough power Grand 80+ Gold power supply. New in 2014. I have not tried to underclock yet I am not sure how to do it. Nvidea debug mode is greyed out. I can use EVGA_PrecisionX_16_v5.3.10 if You can tell me what settings I have to change and what the speeds are.

Hi I am in the processes of doing some comparisons on both settings, out of box and underclocking I will send the screenshots when I am done. I have been playing the game with the new nvidea drivers 15/2/2016 v 361.91 and the game seems to run fine now, so it is possible the new drivers have fixed the issue without having to underclock. I will post in a few days and update this.

I played the Division open beta today, and I had to underclock the card or the game froze and CTD. The same problem they had in closed beta.

Time to make a choice... #1 Run the card in debug mode on games that cause the problem. #2 RMA the card. I would personally rma the card myself. The card should work on all games without having to underclock it.
