We were told that there would be an update to make it possible to get performance out of M.2 Drives Months ago.  USB 3.0 is basically worthless now on the front panel headers.  So I am wondering..
 
I am seeing threads that are very old about both of these issues and EVGA seems to have dropped off the support for them.  I know that they have many other Boards but that is business.  It is reasonable to expect more that such a short attention Span when you pay for the Top of the Line Products from a company.   It's been about a year and a half , maybe two but I am itching to do another TOL Build with all the latest gear BUT seeing that we can't seem to get support for things like this so soon it is not looking like EVGA is the company to invest in. DO they realize how much we spend just on MOBO and GPU here... hell I was even looking at the new Cases.  But NOT for a two year investment.....

For what it's worth,  the USB ports on my Classy have always been a bit twitchy and very, very particular about the device(s) plugged in.    I've got an Orico external that will barely even function it plugged into 3.0.   And I have had a couple of instances where the front USB ports failed to recognize a device.
 
But on the whole, I've found that USB 3.0 period can be a bit twitchy as I've had issues on every board I've ever owned with 3.0.
