Hello,
Just yesterday I ordered a GTX 1070 and selected UPS (as it was my only option) for shipping. I got a tracking number but it doesn't seem to work. The message I get from the UPS website is this:
">>> UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later."
It's a 18 character code. Is my tracking number wrong or am I just dumb and doing something wrong here?

It usually take a little bit before its entered into the system after given the tracking.

Sometimes it takes a while to get entered in the UPS system. It will show up eventually. I've had it happen to me before.

The first notice you'll get is that "A shipping label has been created". Then it will either appear at a UPS location or say "waiting for pickup by UPS". It can be nerve-racking for sure if you're really anxious to get your new video board. I know it drives me nuts.

Yea I know what you mean. Though amazingly I would probably be better off if I didn't have a tracking number at this points. It's just there. Waiting... Taunting me

It's psychological warfare for sure. It's downright inhumane in many respects. LOL Until it actually reaches a UPS destination you can't sign up for alerts either.

Got an email saying UPS got the shipping info from EVGA. The tracking number is also working.

When any company ships by UPS they first give the item a shipping label. The UPS tracking number is initially entered into the UPS tracking system. However actual tracking of an item begins when first scanned by the initial UPS pickup. Once it comes into the first UPS warehouse or UPS drop off point the second scan begins.

It sounds like EVGA signed you up for notifications. That's very thoughtful. I always sign up for the notifications so I can track its progress to me and see when it is finally "Out for Delivery" so I can sit here waiting for it.
