Hello,

I just took delivery of a new GTX 660 SC and am looking to install it into a new system with Windows 7 and a UEFI motherboard. As I understand it, the card does not come with a UEFI compatible BIOS as default. How can I go about installing one to enable UEFI features on my system, including this famed 'Fast Boot' feature?

Thanks

Odai.

Hi, I'm a bit late to the party. I had my gtx 660 in a previous build, worked flawlessly. Upgraded everything else, fresh install of win7, and it seems I can't run games in dx11. I'm hoping the bio flash will fix it, as I have a uefi mobo.Could you send me the bios?

    Much thanks.

The available BIOS for this video card is for Secure Boot support in Windows 8 and a UEFI motherboard. With the issues you are having I would recommend contacting technical support at 888.881.3842 or emailing me directly: JoeyC@evga.com. Let us know all issues and troubleshooting you have gone through.

Flashed and now my pc will not boot. Contacted support and explained everything. RMA will be sent in case I cannot get it back up. I did backup previous bios with gpu-z. How do I flash back to those? This might save a RMA and my pc will be back up. Please help ASAP anyone that can tell me how to flash back properly and safely.

What is this UEFI BIOS for the GTX 660?  Does the GTX 660 Ti need it, too?  I have 02G-P4-3662-KR.  It's working fine, so I'm not sure why one would need this BIOS.

I appear to need an updated Bios update as well for my GTX 660SC card.
May I ask why this isn't available from the site? Most other manufacturers
allow for Bios updates to be downloaded fairly simple.?

I have a 02G-P4-2662-KR card using BIOS 80.06.28.00.61. I just bought another 02G-P4-2662-KR for SLI into my ASUS P8Z68 V pro board. This one has BIOS 80.06.28.00.60.

Is there a firmware update I should be using?  I would prefer if both cards were using the same BIOS/Firmware since they are in an SLI setup.

    Thanks

    Good morning teachdj,

BIOS revisions will change on the same model video card throughout the manufacturing process. Having different BIOS revisions on the same model video card will have no impact on SLI performance. However if you are Windows 8 and would like to secure boot feature we can send a UEFI update. If you are using Windows 7 or previous versions is suggested to keep using the stock firmware. If you are in need of a UEFI update please email myself or support@evga.com.

Thank you and have a nice day

The fastest way for anyone to get a UEFI BIOS is to simply call EVGA at (888) 881-EVGA (3842).  The phones are open 24/7 for support, and will likely be faster than waiting for a tech to see any new posts in this thread.

Call these numbers can not. And in Brazil the EVGA support is not good.
