Haha, yeah my current setup is a 4th HDTV, an LG with TruMotion 120Hz (Interpolation... obviously, not true 120hz). But it does the job for movies and anything that doesn't require high response rate. However, for gaming, I have to turn it off, or else it is unplayable due to input lag from interpolation. I am still lucky though, because it came with an IPS panel. The picture on it is beyond gorgeous. It baffles me. According to many hours of searching around the internet, a few batches of that specific model (LK520) were shipped with high class IPS panels that were excess in factory and had to be liquidated. (many sources have confirmed that). I landed on one by pure luck.

The stand I'm talking about is a separate desk mount. It only gives you about 5" height from what I remember, which sucks. So you have to have some sort of a rack or 2nd level setup in your desk in order to use such a thing. Which I have.

Btw, I found them, there's 2:

First one, not sure I dig it.. they claim it works with 42", from the technical data sheet, I guess it does, leaving you barely any room from the surface of the desk.

I don't know man, I just want to move already so I can get this entire thing setup. I just hope this stand will be worth it.

Honestly, as far as your setup goes, you can definitely incorporate something like these mounts into your desk. You won't be able to add a 42" TV to your 3-way mount.. that's just phyiscally impossible haha. The added 40-60 LB weight (depending on what kind of 42", plasma is HEAVY [80+ LB], while oled is light [30-40 LB]) will either break your mount, or break your glass. Guaranteed.

If you have a wooden desk, bolting a 2nd rack wouldn't bee that hard. All you need is about 5" in width to give the mount arm something to latch on to, the rest is just structural foundation. With your current glass desk, I don't see it happening. You'd need a lot of welding work to get that sorta thing going.

Waiting on the 4GB myself man... don't know when that sucker is gonna land on us.. it's taking too long!

I had to look at the website since I have the same monitor stand, and was thinking about the same thing. Adding another monitor in the future for looking at all the bench stuff, Team speak, etc.

But here you go:

That won't allow him to add a 42" TV to the top. No stand will. The stand will have to take an enormous amount of weight and balance upon itself while carrying all these displays. Think about it :P

That does not mean that he can't put 4 24" in there. I'm just speaking from a large display (HDTV) perspective.
