It simply amazes me that so many are still trying to use 4way sli... man 2 way is still!!!! pci-e limited. unless they start with spliting each card to its own resolution anything more than 2 is just not going to help your game play. 3way can possibly show improvements with some games and special drivers but really your at there mercy with the drivers. Remember video card mfg are in the business of making money so they don't want a driver that is perfect because then you wouldn't have a reason to buy the next new thing they put out.

Would you mind sharing some benchmarks showing 2 way SLi being pci-e limited? While you're at it, can you please show some game play comparisons between 2 way and 4 way sli with 4K / 60 refresh rate (after all, it is what this thread is about). I am just going to take a guess here that you never ran 4 way SLi yourself.

I do mind, only because i do not have any benchmarks already made and I have not enough time busy season for me at work or I would.

No can do, I am done throwing money into companies that don't care for there top supporting customers. If you like GTA4 will show very much how much difference pci-e speed can change your game experience. Ram speed latency and vram also play a roll in how much or little difference you will see with pci-e speed. Basicly any game that is jerky or not smooth as silk should show improvements with pci-e speed increases (2 gpu or more) Crossfire or SLI either will see improvements.

lol'd at this. Why would you even think of saying this? or are you just trolling?  Yes I have had many SLI Crossfire rigs. Only one with 4 gpu was with dual gpu 590's worst scaling i have ever seen why on earth would they even bother putting only 1.5GB of vram per gpu on dual gpu card, silly honestly.
2 590's was worse than just running one no game that i ever played could benifit from having the second 590 one card was always better. Not to mention one 580 classy out performed a 590 in image quality and game play. Not always in FPS but who gives a hoot about FPS if its choppy and plays like crap?

ya i know right! lol well its not that I dislike them trying to make money. Quite the opposite infact, the problem is person who spends $200 on a mid teir gpu for a normal resolution will get just as good if not better game play opposed to the person who spends $4000 will get nothing close to the game playability of resolution this type of product is marketed at. Nvidia knows people who buy titans 2,3,4 are going to do so because they are wanting to have super high resolutions. So shouldent they make a product that will suit that customer? Or at the very least do everything in there power to do so.
Well THEY DO NOT. And that is my only complaint. Oh and to make matters worse if you spend $4000 on titans give them a call and ask them for some help with there product and just see what kind of knowledgeable staff they have in place for helping customers out lol. If your lucky they will just tell you right away to contact your mfg. Do some research look at how many people got banned on nvidia forms for calling them out on things they do that are simply not right. It's ok most people dont really care about there money and where it go's but if your enthusiast then you should care for your fellow man who is just trying to have a truly epic gaming experience.

No trolling, unless of course you are referring to your original trolling on you post on a 4 Way SLi, 4K/60 thread to which you obviously have not contributed to at all.

You did not post any benchmarks or game play comparisons as suggested, because they would definitely make you look silly. It has been done before. Google it.

GTA4 was never properly optimized for PC, let alone 2+ way SLi. If GTA4 is what you are basing your arguments on, you obviously need to be educated.

There's also a big difference between Quad SLi and 4 way SLi.

Bottom line is, if you are going to game at 4K/60 with eye candy on, today you need at least 3 titans. The thread is about doing 4K/60 with 4 Way Sli and if/why is not working properly on 4K monitors. If you do not own 4 cards and a 4K monitor and have nothing other than negative things to say about those who do, why not keep your mouth shut since you are not contributing...

A Vbios update (at my own risk) is both a joke and an insult for what is supposed to be a high end product, my solution is to dump my Titans on Ebay and fit AMD 290x cards as soon as they arrive.

Update: We just received the final builds yesterday, so now we need to build all our variants and test them. I hope that the final BIOS will be ready this week or next.

If EVGA puts out an official BIOS, it should not be 'at your own risk' as long as your GPU's are under warranty.

Hi Jacob. Can EVGA add the new Dell 4K (UP3214Q) to their testing list? Thanks.
