Hi...

I know NVidia won't ship to Australia and I am looking for who does.

Newegg does it and I've been checking regularly to see if they have on stock.. it's been out of stock for many days now... I subscribed to the auto notify and all.
However, when checking again today, something new showed up:

"UNAVAILABLE FOR AUSTRALIA"
Shipping Limitations
We are unable to ship this product because:
  • This product may require a specialty license for export
  • This product may be classified as a dangerous good
  • This product may be oversized and/or overweight
  • This product may exceed monetary limitations imposed by the selected carrier
  • This product may not be allowed in your country

It still out of stock... but this Unavailable thing really means it? Even when become available I won't be able to buy it?
Anyone knows anything?

Or maybe another place where I can buy it and ship to Australia please?

Cheers

Thanks for the link, David. Didn't know this site.
However, its a lot more expansive than newegg.. I bet the buy it at newegg and re-sell it AUD$400.00 more expansive. Not a fair price.

Sorry I don't know what planet you live on but this is the way of the world, the chances you'll get a card in from OS without having to pay duty is VERY slim plus EVGA have an Oz office meaning a protected market so chances you'll get an EVGA card imported against local stock is again very slim.

On top of that the dollar AUD is fluctuating and this causes the disparity in pricing, they can't adjust daily so just go fo best guess worst case scenario.

Here is another local online retailer http://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Graphics_Cards/NVIDIA/58717-GTXTITANX-12GD5 If you use Google and set the search to Australia only you will find many more active online retailers selling and they are all good.

I live in the planet where neweed had always shipped to Australia. You can change the site to Australian and it will automatically gives you Australia prices.
EVGA TITAN X Superclocked was for about AUD$1400 and something last week. It was out of stock, but the princing was there.
Only today, this "Unavailable to Australia" thing appeared. I have no idea why you're crucifying me for trying to get the cheapest price.

You are being too over sensitive I am not trying to 'crucify' you, terrible word, just telling you like it is, there are many retailers in Australia selling the product they have a protective market that is why people can't buy cheap OS and re-sell for more in Australia. it is the same with TV's Camera's, cars etc.

Hi I am also live in Australia. I agree with djmorgan.

If you buy the Titan X on Newegg you have to pay the tax after purchase. So when you do check out you have add around $150.00 AUD with total price.

So it is a lot better to buy in PC Case Gear or local retailer.

I did not know about the tax when I bought the GTX 980 Matrix on Newegg.

So please keep in mind about the tax.

But the PC Case Gear is asking 400 dollars more for it.... 150 of taxes still a better deal.

PC case gear is selling EVGA Titan X for $1599.00

New Egg is selling GTX titan X for around AUD $1400.00. If you add around 50 dollars for postage + tax $150.00 = $1600.00. It can be more due to I do not want exact price for tax.

that makes same price. The price on NEW egg is USD not AUD. You have to convert the USD to AUD.

One thing I can gurantee is that it is a lot better to use local retailer for graphic card due to warranty purpose. I know EVGA RMA is one of the best but if you buy through the New Egg you have to send to direct to USA that cost will be more than AUD $50.00 but if you buy on local retailer you can just send to them.

Simple thing!!

No, Newegg was asking 1400 for the superclocked version... while PC case Gear is asking 1600 for the normal version. I can see PC case gear asking 1800+ for the Superclocked version if it ever become available.

Also, the newegg show prices in AUD for me. If I change region to AUS, it automatically convert the price to my local currency.

It is nonsense that you assume the price for SC version on PC Case gear. How do you know the $1800+ for SC version on PC Case Gear?

I am talking about same normal version. The NEWEGG selling the normal TITAN X for $1400.00 AUD. The only difference on SC and normal on NEWEGG is only $60.00 USD.

If you willing to buy the card on NEW EGG why bother to ask on forum? I am giving you the advice but what is a point that you are not taking the advice.

It is clear the PCCASE Gear is not ripping you off. If you calculate the same normal TITAN X on NEWEGG it is same price....I do not see any $400.00 difference.

I have bought several card for my PC last few times on NEWEGG and my conclusion is that is it a lot cheaper and faster to buy the card on local for graphic cards.

By the way your answer for questioning Unavailable means it does not shipped to Australia. As far as I know NEWEGG has different department for Australia and USA.

The product you saw last few days was due to stock in both Australia and USA that is why it showed as out of stock. But now it is no longer available in Australia department it shows as unavailable. May be try the Amazon or NCIX.

It was AUD 1499 for the normal version from PCCASE GEAR if you pre-ordered last month.

You also missed the 10% off for Gigabyte Titan X from MSY last weekend, it was around AUD 1430

Its because they are not available at the moment.. that is what this thread is about. They were both there (Normal and SC) last week with price in AUD and everything. They were marked as sold out... I even got the chance to subscribe in the "notify me" button.

You can still find it if you search EVGA Titan.. but it won't show up if you go through the site links.

I'm still waiting for the EVGA Titan X Superclocked to be in stock anywhere within Australia. It simply doesn't exist. I've asked PCCG and they have no idea if or when they'll stock it. They said they're having difficulty getting stock of the EVGA cards.

I, too, looked at importing from Newegg when the SC was in stock but once you factor in import cost duties and tax it ends up being around 1800 AUD. PCCG will probably ask 1699 AUD for the Titan X SC — that's if they ever stock it.

PCCG Get cards as a grey imports hence the cheaper prices online in AUS, Makes for a headache when trying to RMA as they take it for 4-6weeks and ship the cards back to states to then be sent back to the manufacturer for testing/warranty.

They may have changed but certainly made me wish i spent the extra $60 and got my Evga 680SC Sig card from a local store instead of online with pccg.

This one time....

EVGA have a office in Oz and as the warranty that comes with the card states do NOT return to retailer but ship to EVGA direct, thus the need to register your card with EVGA, so the so called 'grey' import has no consequence when it comes to EVGA products.

I would go for a local store if I had the option. I've been in many stores in Sydney and not one of them had Titan X.. the ones that were willing to get for me, wouldn't work with EVGA. I can only find video cards here by ASUS or Gigabyte...

I was about to drop that hammer on one at PCCG but they are sold out of EK Acetal+Nickel blocks. Guess I'm waiting longer :(

Yes, however it ends up being ~1800 AUD (inc. shipping, tax and other duties) vs 1600 AUD from somewhere like PCCG. Not reasonable at all.

Still looking. Still waiting.

I saw last night that PC Case Gear had a ETA for the normal EVGA Titan X and the preorder button was available. I sent them an email about the Superclocked and they say:
"We will definitely be getting them in! We don’t have any confirmed information for the ETA or pricing as of yet, but we’ll list them up for pre-order as soon as we possibly can."

I will wait for that.. I want the SC.
