Sweet.  Looks like I got the last one.  I was debating on waiting to see about a Titan version, but I can't see through the side panel anyway...

Nope. Long gone, never lasts more than a couple hours.

Tell your bosses to INCREASE THEIR ORDERS FROM THE SUPPLIER.

This isn't rocket science, the demand for these will last throughout the year as Titan X owners despise the ridiculous "right to 90% in any game at any setting" fan speed.

And PS - Auto-Notify didn't work, again, on this latest batch.  Never heard a peep outside this thread.  Why do we even try.

Such bull****.  No Auto-Notify, so I guess we losers will just refresh this goddamned thread f-ing 500x per day until they come in again right? Fun!

The Titan X SC was easier for me to grab than this nonsense $99 part.

May not be the issue you ran into with auto-notify, but I realized that it was happening to me when I forgot to sign up for it again failing to acquire one from a previous notice.  It apparently clears itself after a notice so that it doesn't continue to send them (as it assumes you purchased one).  I only got in on this one because I got the notice from the thread subscription when Jacob posted that they were in stock and they managed to stay in stock for almost four hours this time.

You perhaps already knew this, so apologies if you did.  I understand your aggravation.

Hey

Yes yes! I just thought we misunderstood each other! And i too didn't get the auto-notification. Got it because jacob came and stated that it was in stock (email notification on iphone) so i dropped everything i was doing and ordered asap. I got lucky i guess. Now thinking about that custom paint job .. Colors/design etc.

Be careful with the vulgarities and abbreviated vulgarities, as they are against the forum rules.

Make sure you sign up for the auto notify now.

Yes, I can understand your frustration. No, autonotify doesn't always work.

If you didn't sign up after the last autonotify, then that may be why it was missed, as CoercionShaman mentioned. You have to imagine, everyone with a card that this will fit on really wants one, so you may miss it even with autonotify. They are also not creating as many coolers/aio sets as they have Titan X, so of course it is easier to get the Titan X. There is multiple companies to buy the Titan from, while there is only one to buy this kit from.

Re: The Official Titan X and HYBRID Water Cooler (All in One) for GTX 980 Thread 2015/04/30 07:51:45 (permalink)
I don't just want the cooler kit, I also want a binned Titan-X and the warranty to go with it. I really want the AIO cooler and the Titan-X together. If eVGA releases that I'll get one immediately. Still, it they take too long I'll probably just get an SC anyway. I wish eVGA would go ahead and announce a time frame for a Titan-X hybrid.

Full water cooling was too much of a pain to maintain so I'm sticking with closed loops.

I am not sure evga can offer a hybrid solution for the titan x because au nvidia's agreements. I think they have to keep the stock cooler. Merge a AiO with the stock cooler would no doubt violate the rules set by nvidia to manufacturers. That being said, since it's a perfect fit... Just get the 980AiO and you're pretty much good to go with your titan x.

Regarding an "official" Hybrid cooler for TITANX, this is something in the works.

Jacob, can you elaborate a little more on the TitanX Hybrid AiO-Cooler?

True that. I just don't understand why nvidia didn't want re-sellers to use their own cooling patents, acx etc.. And we all know what "in the works" means. It means it's going to be quite some time before you see it on their site AND it's going to be b/o madness. Like the original titan x launch and the b/o madness of the 980 hybrid cooler. Evga sure is popular amongs gamers/enthusiasts.

It will be the same everything, exce0t the shroud will say Titan X instead of 980. No other changes or modifications are needed. :-) they may include a cool graphic design to the cooler, but it is legitimately the exact same setup for the 980 and Titan X, so it is a simple fix.

And then they can sell the shroud by itself for all of the people that bought the 980 kit...

Hopefully so. That would be awesome to be able to retro fit the shroud when the time comes.

Hey

For those of us that install the 980 hybrid cooler on the titanx, is a backplate going to fit ? Curious about this. I don't see anything that is changig the back portion of the pcb but you never know..

No the HYBRID Water Cooler (All in One) for GTX 980 comes with NO Back Plate.
If you do not have one for your Titan X you can find it here. 100-BP-2999-B9  EVGA GTX TITAN X Backplate
Only the EVGA GeForce GTX TITAN X Hydro Copper comes with a Back Plate.

The Card that you have if it has a Black Plate then you use that one. You would use your current Back Plate if you have one that is.

Yes the EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Hybrid Graphics Card comes with a Back Plate.

Guess what I got today!

I feel like installing them right now, but...
I think I'll have to wait till tomorrow or the weekend :(

I feel like I may have to mod the housing to get these to fit inside the current Titan X casing, don't feel like using the provided 980 cover.
