Does Evga plan to sell a hybrid with Titan X branding instead of 980? Im willing to wait if there is one in the works.

Yes, should see it by end of month.

Oooooh very nice. Cancelling my two orders for the 980 AIO from Amazon now :)

Hi everyone,

If anyone still doubting in efficiency of 980 AIO cooler on Titan X, I prepared little chart based on Valley Benchmark showing differences between two methods of cooling on my Titan X.
From this I hope next version of Titan will have AIO watercooling kit from the beginning
If not, I hope that next generation of EVGA AIO cooler will be bit more advanced.
I wouldn't mind if it will have PWN fan/s managed from waterblock, based on GPU temp.
So far I pluged fan into PWN motherboard socket and defined a fan curve based on PCI temp sensor (this was for me the most logical and near to real GPU temp. solution).
BTW, how you guys sorted GPU temp control from your motherboards ?

Unless Unigine has an issue, your Titan X is showing only 4GB RAM.  Assuming Windows is showing the same, you need to do a driver clean and reinstall on your drivers.  Others have had the same issue.

Very nice temps on your card with the kit and nice graphical presentation.

Hey guys!

So yeah my build is now FINAL! (besides a intel 750 400gb nvme and a sm951 256nvme) i got everything working like i want. So since the purpose of this thread was the 980 AiO hybrid on a titan x i'll elaborate a little bit on my findings.
At first i had the stock fan in push mode which would give me +/- 30c idle and +/- 47-49c 100% load. Now i've removed the stock fan and replaced it by 2xsp120's (plugged on motherboard @max rpm and still very silent) and my temps are as follows.
Idle : +/- 23c-24c, load 100% +/- 41-43c. So yeah you can see on my pictures that the 980aio radiator is a the bottom of my case and i have 2x af140's full rpm (silent silent) right in front so the rad get's fresh air all the time and it is pushing through the bottom of the case.
Bottom line, very very please with the case (corsair 780t) and the 980AiO cooler. Push/Pull really confirmed the necessity of this accessory. They should do it for every freakin gpu imo.

Have a good night !

Max

That is a cool case.  If I didn't have a perfectly functioning Storm Trooper, I'd be interested in one of those.

I got my backplate in today, but I have to go buy a Torx T6 tomorrow to do the work.  I'm pretty excited after seeing everyone else's results.  I think I am going to paint out the 980 shroud black rather than wait for the Titan X shroud and wonder if they will sell it by itself.

Good point, thx. But GPU-Z showing 12GB, so seems is only Valley Benchmark bug.

Update:

OK I just checked it and Win also show only 4GB memory. I tried to remove all drivers and driver clean, but after installation I have that same issue, could you please direct me to thread where people solved it as I tried to search it with forum search but I found nothing with those phrases.

Update:
I found it through Google  apparently this is Windows bug and hasn't got any major impact on overall performance of the card so I will leave it as it is.
Sorry for make a panic.

Hey,

4gb in dxdiag is a windows bug it has nothing to do with perfs. Trust GPU-Z and nvidia control panel they both show the right amount. As for your temps and graph, good job :). And Coercion, keep us updated on that custom paint job, i ended up not doing it since i was too eager to install the damn AiO. Now that it is in my case, i don't feel like removing the shroud and just "don't care enough" since the things works so good.

No worries.  Reinstalling the old card, power up, remove drivers, run driver cleaner, power down, swap cards, power up and install new drivers and it showed correctly for me.  But I'm OCD about stuff like that.  I wanted Windows to show it correctly... LOL.  But I then did a clean install of Windows again anyway.  I typically like to do that with major component changes (or at a minimum annually).

Well done  now you make me feel anxious about this 4gb issue, thinking that I need to fix it as I am bit OCD as well .
But I may force myself to wait untill I get Intel PCIe 750 series disk (late deliver due to stock overselling) and when Win 10 will be released, the I probably will do reinstall of OS.

I don't know if I should cancel my order and wait for the official Titan X AIO.
What do you guys think?

Quick update my system.

Due to customise the Titan X reference cooler I failed to install the system in Antec P380

So I had to find the big tower that can install the radiator next to hard drive cage. And I finally found it!!

NZXT Swith 810. Full Tower Case with plenty of rooms for fan.

I moved my system from Antec p380 to NZXT Switch 810. The result was awesome. It perfectly fit as below

Finally I finished my build~~

Since I used push and pull 2 fans for each radiator both card never reached 53 degree on full load

First card up to 52 degree

Second card up to 50 degree

Anyone considering doing similar to mine you should very careful due to length of tube is short so need the case something like NZXT Switch 810.

So a new AIO hybrid cooler with the appropriate shroud is anticipated for EOM!

Any plans for a pre-assembled card and hybrid cooler or should I just get the SC and the new kit? I suspect anything better than the SC will be binned for the Hydro-Copper cards anyway. I've been holding off to see if an original hybrid card is issued but I'll go for the DIY option rather than waiting another 6 months.

Bill, you got it wrong (no offence).

There will be no AIO kit but a 'complete' AIO-watercooled TitanX, hence why they call it "TitanX HYBRID" :)

I think he is right, JacobF was talking about a Hybrid AIO like the 980 (not a full block WC)

It makes no sense that they would not release an AIO kit for the TitanX when they did so for the 980. Can you confirm this information?

I was specific because I wasn't 100% sure Jacob just meant the cooler kit and I figured someone would correct me. He probably meant that and not the full card though it'd be great to be wrong on that. :-)

Hey jacob,

You're so great that i think you could put pression on your superiors for "just the shroud" of the titan x compatible with the AiO980. I know you can do it :) Plus it's not that complicated you guys will already be manufacturing these shrouds. You only have to do 1 more and sell it to me :)

Re: The Official Titan X and HYBRID Water Cooler (All in One) for GTX 980 Thread 2015/05/13 20:09:34 (permalink)
Decided last night to paint the aio covers and see how they come out. Quite pleased. The vinyl lettering I ordered looked so nice I decided not to add a layer of clear when I finished.

I tried inserting the images with a url from dropbox. Didn't work. Could someone tell me how to insert images without attaching them and hitting the 500k cap?

You cannot link to an image in your Dropbox, they do not allow it.
I use https://www.flickr.com so that I can link to Photos.

You should have named it the TITAN X Hybrid like the EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Hybrid

This is the GTX TITAN X Hydro Card, Full name is the EVGA GeForce GTX TITAN X Hydro Copper
