Does anyone know the status of the Titan X Pascal?  Nvidia shows it for sale on the GeForce website for $1,200.00;  however, none are available.  Amazon shows one for around $1,750.  That's a little high, I think.  I won't pay that.  I will pay $1,200, though.

Only nVidia will be selling the Titan X Pascal so you'll have to keep an eye on their site. They come and go so you should be able to get one in a few days.

If you are looking for the Titan, you will have to buy one from Nvidia and will only get a founder's edition sent as that is the only model you can buy. You should eventually be able to get aftermarket coolers, but you can't buy a hybrid model from EVGA or a hydro copper, instead you need to buy the cooler and modify it yourself, at least when those come out. Now if you are looking at getting the titan, here is the link to the page on nvidia's website for it: http://www.geforce.com/ha...0series/titan-x-pascal

Buying from Amazon 3rd party resellers will not give you a warranty. Nvidia warranty specifically states original owner. As they are buying from Nvidia, their information is attached to the serial number, and you get no warranty. Buy from Nvidia direct.

Seems like Nvidia, or who they sell through, marks them as sold out at the end of the day and weekends and up during business hours.  They come back in stock very frequently.

As of this post they are in stock right now.  I was able to add one to my shopping cart.  Use the store page instead of the Titan X product page.  For some reason the latter does not update with the former.

I just pulled the trigger on one of them.  Going from three (3) GTX 980 Classifieds in 3-way SLI to one Titan X Pascal.  I might have to get a second Titan, we'll see.

They are much faster than 1080s and have 4 gb more vram same games are pretty close to going over 6 gb like the division. if you get 2 you may want pci 3.0 16x16  for them to avoid bottlenecks i had some issues with pci 3.0 8x8 setup so i had to upgrade some of my hardware.

It just shipped.  I'm stoked!  A single card to run a 4K screen.  At least, I hope that's the case.  Feel free to post your (humble) opinions on whether or not you think it is up for the task.

I've got a single 1080 SC and an archaic cpu (X58 board, 6-core Xeon) and that's enough in most of my games to max out at 60 hz on my 4K monitor. Only a few, like The Division, or Witcher 3, or possibly some other brand-new games won't be maxed at 60 fps, and those that aren't could be pegged at 60 with some moderate reduction in quality. In The Division, for example, I can keep my framerate at 60 if I reduce shadow quality, or if I keep it maxed, I'll be upper 40s to mid 50s depending on where I'm at in the game.

All of my games that are older than the current generation are trivially maxed at 60 fps, as is Doom running under the Vulkan API.

If you've got a modern, fast cpu and RAM, and a Titan XP, I'd think that you should be able to peg any of these games at 60, or very close to it.

Well, if pegging the 4K monitor at 60fps is your top priority, then your next question is whether you prioritize having $1200 more in your account more than you prioritize keeping every single setting at Ultra. With one Titan XP you'll be close enough that the compromises necessary to peg a game that isn't pegged already will probably be slight and mostly not noticeable.

I just noticed in your sig your new machine. That's pretty awesome. I'm in the midst of a rebuild right now, with the last component, the Core i7 6900, sitting on a UPS truck somewhere between me and Colorado. I'll be using the X99 FTW K mobo, and probably the same RAM as you (mine is also Trident-Z DDR 4 3200 CL14, so probably the same model). I'm using only a single 1080 SC though. If I can OC my 6900 to the same speeds as yours this will let me get a really nice direct comparison between what your dual Titan XPs can do vs. a single 1080. Have you posted your benchmark scores with that setup?

There's quite a difference in game-play between this Titan X (Pascal) and my 3-way SLI of GTX 980 Classifieds.  The Titan X is much cooler.  It clocks right up to 1,850 MHz on the GPU clock and 10K MHz on the memory clock without any tweaking.  All I did was fire up Precision X and set a fan profile.  In Crysis 3 if the AA settings are maxed, the framerate will be 35 - 45 fps.  But, it's still smooth playing.  If the AA settings are backed down a few steps, then it jumps to > 60 fps.  Everything else is set to ultra.  In F4 with all settings maxed out the framerate holds at 60 fps.  Haven't tested much else.  Tried 3D Mark Fire Strike, but it wouldn't post a score for some reason.  It said something about my CPU not being at stock speeds.  I'll work on that and see what kind of a score I can get.  I can't run Time Spy because that's a DX12 benchmark and I am not running Win10, so no DX12 for me.  Not yet anyway.  I just don't feel like starting over.  I have an awesome Skyrim build right now and I just don't want to mess with it.  It's taken me several years to get that where it is.  And there's a whole new Skyrim coming out in a month or so.  That will be interesting.

TITAN is ultra expensive and not worth 1000$, not 1200$, and for 1000$ leave bad taste of 80% working chip.
GTX900 series price drop, GTX980Ti Hybrid now cost 550 euro, I saw. Maybe and for 500$ could be find.
Soon people will need to wait new series to show up only to buy older for normal price.

Frankly, I'm pretty impressed with that card.  One Titan XP can do the job of three (3) GTX 980 Classifieds.

    Rig #1 - ASUS Maximus X Hero  | Core i7 8700K @ 5GHz  | Corsair Obsidian 750D | Corsair Hydro H110i | Corsair AX1200i | 32GB Patriot Viper 3200MHz  | Nvidia Titan Xp Galactic Empire | Samsung 960 Pro M.2 NVME | Win 10 Pro 64 | Asus Supreme FX - Corsair SP2500 Speakers
    Rig #2 - ASUS RIVBE | Core i7 3970X @ 4.6GHz | Corsair Obsidian 900D | Corsair Hydro H115i | Corsair AX1200i | 32GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 2666MHz | Nvidia Titan X (Pascal) X2 (SLI) | Samsung 840 Evo 1TB X2 (RAID 0) | Win 10 Pro 64bit | ASUS Supreme FX Black - Corsair SP2500 Speakers

Opinions from those who actually don't have first hand knowledge of what they are talking about is just that, worthless.

I actually own a Titan X (P) and can tell you now, it is an absolutely amazing card.  Yes, I could have bought two GTX1080s, but the whole point for me (maybe not others here) was to get rid of having to use SLI for certain games with max or near max settings at higher resolutions.  I normally play games at either UQHD (3440 x 1440) or 4K/UHD (3840 x 2160).  The Titan X (P) was the answer.  I recently upgraded from EVGA GTX980Ti 2-way SLI to the single Titan X (P) and the performance is nearly identical and sometimes better in real world gaming - not just stupid worthless synthetic benchmarks.  The new setup requires only half the power vs. GTX980Ti SLI and generates less heat.  My GTX980Ti cards were water cooled, and now so is the Titan X (P) that replaced them.  Coolant temps dropped almost 10C -- awesome!  So, for me it was a win-win outcome ;-)

Nice scores - though I think two Titan XPs are a bit overkill ;-)

Dang, from the reviews I read, I should have waited and got the Titan X pascal, lol. I just ordered a EVGA GTX 1080 FTW from newegg today. Upgrading from a 980ti hydrocopper. :( wonder how much the restock fee is? Too late to cancel. How are you liking that Titan X?

I have the follwoing display, X34 at 100fps, Pg278q at 144fps and 4K TV at 60fps. One Titan XP with oced that much is not good enough at all.

The pascal titan x doesn't have all the cuda cores enabled that a GP102 chip can offer.

Very wrong you are.  One Titan XP is plenty and I am getting great frame rates.  Not sure if something might be wrong with your cards :P
