Hi,

since i have a 3-way-sli my pc behave strange:

every boot windows 8.1 shows a error message with a 2,2gb memory dump.

The next thing is:

when i want to restart the system every time the pc hang in the bios screen "overclocking error" (dont oc the system).

I installed old backups and remove some SSD's and HDD's but this solve the problems.

Did i have to raise some voltages on the Asus Rampage mobo ?

Later i wil test only two cards.

CPU is a 4960X

I have the exactly same setup  and I was facing the same problem, I couldn't figer out what on earth would cause my windows/mobo to act up, and in my case on top of that  my HDDs  would disappeared  after awhile.
Have you used your MB support disk or updated drivers, one of them and I think was Asmedia SATA Controller Driver would mess things up I have simply uninstalled them and everything works great, no hiccups.
I can't say that this will  be the solution in your case but try it.

    I removed:

    all three Blacks,
    the CPU
    the memory
    the battery of the Mobo
    replace some SATA cables
    and rebuild the system.

This time i connected the EZ-PLUG.

Then i build the three Blacks into the system and a MSI GTX770 as PhysX card.

During connecting the fourth card i recognize that one of the ATX12V Power connectors was removed from the Enermax Platimax powersupply.
It was the 4-pin CPU connector!

The 8-pin CPU connector was another cable to the powersupply and this cable was connected.

So i wonder how can be the red connector removed from the powersupply? (i didn't)!

Now i have to test the system, but i think the system will works now stable (for testing this added the fourth card for creating heavy load).

    I came back here asap.
