Is TigerDirect going out of business? I received an email from them stating that all future sales will be Final, no returns will be accepted. I noticed that their inventory of certain items was really low so that got me to wondering what was up.

Yes, Tiger is going out of business. My friend works (worked, actually) for them, the company was sold to PCM aka PC Mall for 14 million.

Yes, less choices is never good. The last time I stepped into one of their stores about 14 months ago, (60 miles or so from me) the inventory was of low quality products at retail prices. The online search engine was not even 40% as good as Newegg's & they did not have competitive pricing - so I even stopped looking at their site. No real surprise they are closing

I always thought their online site was poorly done compared to NewEgg with fewer photos and limited specs for the items I was interested in buying.

Yeah, me too until they sold me a bogus Diablotek RPM 1050 PSU that was nowhere near 1050 watt output but a 550 watt PSU with a label slapped on the side of it. I still hold a grudge over that and it happened years ago.
