I might have missed this in the manual some where.  What Thunderbolt add on card does EVGA recommend for this board? Thanks for any help with this.

I don't think they have mentioned a recommended card as of yet. I haven't seen much mention of the thunderbolt at all, as a matter of fact.

Thanks for the reply. EVGA does not mention anything about Thunderbolt but they have the Thunderbolt GPIO Connector on the board. So it makes it Thunderbolt ready. I like this feature that is why i asked the question.

*EDIT - Ugh! I can't post links on these forums yet!

There is an Intel site about the Thunderbolt Ready program, it is a couple years old, but it is informative.

You can search for "Thunderbolt GPIO Header." The search results should provide a page from Intel =>
    blogs intel com / technology / 2013 / 11  / intel-announces-thunderbolt-ready-upgrade-program-for-pc-motherboards-desktops-and-workstation-computers

After reading this myself, as well as a few other articles around the 'Net, my take away is - Thunderbolt is not like adding in a RAID card, possibly needing other than plug and play compatibility. As long as the board meets the Thunderbolt Ready requirements, the Thunderbolt add on card should work using the Thunderbolt GPIO header and other necessary connections required for proper operation.
