Well last Tuesday, I left work early because I was feeling tightness in my chest with mild pain as I took deep breaths.  As I got home, I because more uncomfortable so I decided to lay down.  As soon as I did that, the pain I felt in the right side of my chest increased exponentially.  I felt like I wasn't able to breath because every breath hurt.  Within 3 hours, I was at the ER where they ran the gambit of tests including XRay of my chest, Sonogram of my diaphragm, EKG, Bloodwork, etc...  At the end of the day, the doctor concluded I was experiencing something called "Pleurisy".  It sucks.  I'll let you guys google that.  The good news is, a week later, I'm about 98% back to normal and my life was never in jeopardy.

My wife had that about a month ago. She still has some weird sloshing feeling in her lungs. She woke up one night screaming and grabbing her side. It was pretty scary.

I'm glad your ok man! I have had that once, just a breath or movement was very painful. At least you know your not pregnant now.....   

I'm glad you're fine. Both my neighbour and my friends wife have Pleurisy, and I've seen them suffer because of it :(

I haven't heard about that issue in people in quite some time , for some reason I keep thinking it was wiped out after the wild, old west was over..???

I had it when I was a kid back in the 60's . Witch doctor medicine back then . They used a fluoroscope on me to look at my lungs . Still remember that pain too...

I experience those symptoms and many more on a daily basis.
 
The HBP medicine (Lisinopril 20MG) I take daily calms it down, But I still have a lot of problems on the daily... 1 being that my vision is out of focus 24/7 and it has been for the past 2 years, Everything is blurry and I feel it's slowly getting worse. I can't remember how clear vision feels anymore and it hurts me (Emotionally).
 
Been suffering from this since 2013 and I stopped going to the ER when they told me everything was normal, So now I just wait for the day "Normal" takes me with it. =)

That sounds awful. 

Yea , I could barely breathe . We had no health insurance back then  , otherwise I would of been in the hospital . Nowadays you just go to the emergency room then tell them you can't pay later . Surprised I didn't die from it . My parents stayed around me 24 hrs to make sure I kept breathing . Heck , now that I think about it I also had Saint Louis Insypilisis (can't spell it right) when I was a child too...
