Alright so the first card I bought was a GTX 1060 3gb and it would not boot up my computer (black screen with "No Signal" on my TV), ALL drivers were removed using DDU, I reset my CMOS, did absolutely everything possible and it would not work. So I sold it and I just barely received my new GTX 960 2gb and the SAME exact problem is happening. I know for a fact my motherboard is compatible with the 900 series yet it doesn't work. This is the SECOND time I get BURNED by EVGA.

My computer specs are:
Athlon 860k
MSI A68HM-E33 V2  *UPDATED TO THE LATEST BIOS*
16gb of RAM *I RESEATED THEM, THEY'VE BEEN TESTED AND WORK FINE*
600W Rosewill Valens 600M

My old HD 6970 works great when I pop it in, yet your EVGA cards do not.... what the hell seriously??? I'm really pissed off.

I was going to ask if the onboard GPU was disabled, until you stated the 6970 works. Sorry you're having issues. Another dumb question, are you using the GPU port for video instead of onboard? It doesn't sound like you contacted support for the 1060, instead you sold the card, why? Did the buyer buy it as non-working or did they state an issue?

I had two threads on the forums about my 1060 and you guys helped me as much as you could, and yes the 1060 actually did work with it's new owner. I diagnosed just now that my powersupply AND 960 both work fine in my friends computer. Could it possibly be either a driver issue or a motherboard issue? And by driver I mean, like WiFi, or keyboard... you know something stupid like that?

If there is no video output during POST, and the card works in a different PC, then that points to the motherboard not being compatible.

It can't be a driver issue because an OS is not loaded at that time - just the motherboard's BIOS functions.

I bet that if you had a 500 series or older Nvidia card it would work fine, and I bet that any 600 (sans the special legacy VBIOS cards), 700, 900, and 10 series card will never work in your motherboard (if you do have the latest BIOS update flashed).

The problem isn't your motherboard. It's the video card. This verifies my response.

Nothing to do with EVGA, not sure why you would come to that conclusion when the cards work fine in other systems.

I would check your setting in the BIOS for graphics/GPU selection and make sure it is set to PEG an not onboard or auto. I'd also try disabling fast boot. Also try it on an actual PC monitor, some TVs do not properly report EDID info so it may not be detected properly.

The OP already tested multiple monitors. http://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2576474

Maybe the AMD Motherboard MSI A68HM-E33 V2, have you looked over on the MSI Forum?
Also being that your HD 6970 AMD Graphics Card works fine.

The video card is working wonderfully in my friends computer on which Im typing this message on right now. Also theres videos all over the internet by people who have FM2+ motherboards with this exact video card. Maybe its just the MSI version.

The link I posted in post #6 shows an evga 960 2gb working with your MSI A68HM-E33 V2 motherboard.

Hey I have a question, she doesnt acutally have a soundcard, and my computer does. Could that possibly be whats causing a conflict with the graphics card and motherboard, ill test this theory out tomorrow but honestly im running out of options.

Good question. It has something to do with the motherboard bios/gpu vbios.

Would you suggest I buy a Gigabyte FM2+ board, or Asus.

I also want to apologize to EVGA for my ignorant first post, I was just aggravated as I didnt even know if it truly was a motherboard or video card problem. Thank you all for your help, I truly appreciate it. Ill be getting a new board soon.

Pull put out all other PCIe Cards and test with only the Graphics Card.

well  one thing I do recall is like with the z68 boards  and 900 cards was  the evga cards  may not work out but MSI cards would  ?   could be just a bios handshake between the boards and cards bios  between brands  ?    sad thing is todays stuff just aint so plug and play anymore  ..  if you google around something like z68 and gtx 970  black screen or don't boot  , ect....  and read up on then type threads   anyway seemed MSI had given the better compatibility  of the top brands ..   evga the worse for cards and asrock and giga of motherboards ..[opinion of what I think I see form them]  some brands for there motherboards had released a new bios to better support new cards and some just left you holding the bag  [ Hi asrock ]

seems since  the release of 900 series the forums fill up with issues  like never before     like that good old  ''LUCK OF THE DRAW''  is more important today then ever before
