Out of interest, how is the pc port of the game? Was thinking about buying it on PS4 but it's kinda tempting to just click buy now... Thanks

    It's pretty awesome. I have multiple friends that spent over 200 hours playing before they finally finished it. I've got about 50 in it myself and I'm loving it.

    PC port is fine, nothing special.  Mouse and keyboard get their own HUD, there is an abundance of key bindings and pretty good configuration options, but optimization sucks (patch 2 worsened performance greatly) and there is no walk function (but this is fixed by a hack).  This type of game is meant for KB+M, the gameplay style dates back to PC exclusive games like Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights so it's very point-and-click heavy like the other Dragon Age games.  As a general rule of thumb if you have a capable PC then there is no point in getting a multiplatform game on console.

    Thanks for your replies guys. I bought the game yesterday and I'm enjoying it, just wish I had more time! I just got a new set up with a new TV and all sorts so that was the only reason why. I can't imagine playing this game with a control now after playing it for about 6 hours spread across 2 classes. Runs ok for me for the most part on ultra with a few settings at high, no AA (I don't think this game needs it). The only multi platform game I have an either console is COD on xbox one, and that's only because it was free!
     
     
    Ended up getting a refund on Origin. Going to wait until it's a little less buggy but I feel like you need to invest a lot of times into a game like this and I don't have that at the moment which is a pain

    Won't buy it. Origin exclusive... I pretty much hate EA. What a horrible company. I wait for the day they go bankrupt.

    Out of curiosity, what kind of bugs?  The only widespread bugs are graphics bugs with multi-GPU systems.  But you are absolutely right about time investment, this is the most vast story-driven single player game in existence.  One playthrough can easily last over 100 hours.

    Absolute minimal, not really bugs just occasional performance issues and hiccups. It was just an excuse to return it really lol. Annoying as I was really enjoying it but yeah, when I have more time I'll definately scoop it up. I only want to play that game now which is ironic -_-
