Thermal Pad Fix Instructions for 1070/1080?

Is there any chance we can get the instructions for this fix uploaded somewhere instead of waiting for the pads to arrive in the mail? Basically all we really need is confirmation on the thickness of the pad and locations they need to be placed (most of us have a general idea to begin with).
 
I'm sure a lot of others like myself would like to just have this issue over and done with rather than waiting weeks (possibly months depending on location and EVGA dispatch) for a thermal pad we can purchase or source locally.

    Is their a list of All Model Numbers that EVGA is going to Provide New or Missing Thermal Pad for?
