Can we get an update for UK & European customers on an eta for delivery from an EVGA rep?

Weeks go by and many of us are afraid to use our cards for gaming without these pads, which is not a good situation to be in as your customers.

Thanks.

Requested my pads on october 24th. It has been 3 weeks now and some people have requested them after me and received before me. This is is getting really frustrating and I don't like complain about the pads. They should have been on the card the day it was released. This is a major QC issue. I switched to EVGA for 10x series, because the reviews seemed really good. Card is good, no doubt about that. It's just frustrating that I bought a almost 500 euro product, that I have to mod. I'd just like to get over it as soon as possible and continue my life. It's frustrating to go to EVGA site to check the status everyday and reading about exploding FTW's on Reddit. So please give us EU customers some information about the shipping ETA.

Thank you.

This.

I am not from the EU, but South-Africa, but I still want this over with, I don't want to babysit the website day in and day out.

I requested and received a set, but ultimately had to send my card for RMA (launch version with black screen issues).  I have one set of thermal pads that won't get used.  Easiest thing for me to do is probably to pass them along.  If you PM me, (US ONLY!!!), I will send you my set.  ONE SET, first come, first serve.  I'll send them in a small USPS envelope like they came to me.

I'd ship 'em abroad but it 1) would take forever anyway, 2) cost a ton!  Shockingly, I have no interest either! :(

jjahvoSo please give us EU customers some information about the shipping ETA.

According to the EVGA support they started shipping to EU customers this week and they said I can expect mine to be shipped until next week. So I guess it's the same for you and we can expect them to be delivered sometime in the next 2 weeks.

I sure hope so. Been waiting over three weeks, and they should really ship according to date of request, not where you live. I feel like we have had to wait a lot longer, especially with a shipping time that takes at least a week more.

Hi

I am in the UK, even right now the status still shows as "awaiting shipment" after waiting around 3 weeks, but my kits turned up in the post yesterday. All installed and all good..

Cheers

Not to complain to much about the thermal pads, but whats happening with it ?
Are all of the thermal pads being used on new stuck cards, so people that have a card and are waiting on them have to wait even longer ?

Now since it have been "approved" for many days now and still says "Awaiting Shipment" I think that an update and so info on when people are getting
the pads, so they can play abit more "save" and dont be to afraid to lite an fire inside the case.

Well I opened a ticket, the response:

Hello,

Thank you for the reply, I apologize for the inconvenience for the delay of your thermal pad. At the moment we do not have some of the part to make it as a kit, that is the hold up of the thermal pad. I apologize for the inconvenience, we have no ETA on when we will be sending out the thermal pad kit to you or other customers. At the moment your status is <Removed Serial Number> EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0 Awaiting Shipment To see the status of your thermal pad. Please log into your account, go to this page http://eu.evga.com/thermalmod/ scroll down to the bottom you will see a status of the thermal pad kit.

Regards,
EVGA

So yes, the same thing we have been told 2 weeks ago... *sigh*

I am from Germany and my status recently changed from "awaiting shipment" to "request shipped 11/17/2016. therefore I suppose the support`s statement is reliable.

Will there appear a tracking number next to the "request shiped" status when the parcel is handed over to the carrier?

Damn it's frustrating seeing people who requested pads just over a week ago, getting them before people who requested on day one.

I requested mine on the 24th of October. It took this long to get them. VRAM pads included. I think they had to wait for those to ship everything out.

I did, lol. Fulipoly instead of silicone based. They were drying out and starting to crumble. $40 down the drain.

I ordered on day 1 and nothing yet. Don't feel like waiting forever while I try not to push my card too much until I get the official pads, so I just bought my own thermal pads out of my pocket. That's a shame, but one thing is for sure, I'm done with evga.

My order status says they shipped it out on 11/2/2016, but I still have not received them. I have contacted support many times. They keep saying that I should get them soon and that the thermal pads are "optional." I don't think they are optional if we are paying extra for a FTW card that can be overclocked. I contacted support to pay for them to send me another set of thermal pads. Did not work...

I sit here waiting while two 1080 FTW's go wasting in my X99 Build waiting on my thermal pads. While my Z170 build with an Asus 1080 Strix is gaming at 60 degrees C at 1440 165hz flawlessly. This is the 2nd and last time I will ever buy EVGA.

And remember people even when they eventually ship these, you can wait up to 2-3 weeks until they arrive, making this fix a very slow process, and what’s worse the updated fan curve doesn't give you peace of mind as you know it's a simple band aid. The thermal pads are needed to future proof the reliability of our FTW cards which come with completely overkill TDP/power phase setup we now know makes zero difference and was shoehorned for the sake of being "unique" to the rest of the cards out there...
