Blizzard will never say no to taking your money.
Actually they often do, this is free if you own the expansion. Blizzard is releasing a new Overwatch character next week too, for free.
 Not my fault if you're offended.

Blizzard has a Starter Edition for Diablo 3. You're limited to 3 Class, level cap to 13, no season or hardcore access, and Act I story mode.
I played for 2 hours and reached my cap, and played 3 more hours to get rare items to look like a pro ;)
I'm waiting for good sales for the Standalone + Expansion (I want access to the Crusader).
Now that you announced Diablo I porting, I'm getting tempted at buying :)

It might be the only thing that gets me to play the game.... to play diablo 1 again.
1 and 2 they did a really good job, but 3 has felt like nothing but a money grab. definitely not as fun as the previous two.
